LILY/LIBRA: SE PASO EL PUENTE DEL ARCO IRIS - LEFT US TO HEAVEN - GING ÜBER DIE REGENBOGENBRÜCKE

El domingo nos aviso otra vez Norman, que cuidaba de LILY todo este tiempo, que ella otra vez estaba mal....Asi la recogimos para observarla y consultar otra vez al veterinario. Ella no paraba de dar vueltas y vueltas por la casa, irse con la cabecita contra las paredes y no encontrar la paz y tranquilidad. Ella estaba mas deteriora que antes. Ni en brazos,  que a ella le encantaba, quiso quedarse. Por su propio bien la dejamos por la noche en un transportin grande, para estar seguro que e no  pudía hacerse daño.
On Sunday Norman, who has taken care all the time of LILY, called us that Lily was really sick again..... So we picked her up to observe her and to consult again the veterinarian. She didn`t stop turning around and around in the house, bumping with her head to the walls and she couldn`t find any peace and rest. She was more deteriorate than before. Not even in arms, what she loves, she wanted to stay. For her own best we left her overnight in a big transport-box to be sure that she couldn`t harm herself.  
Am Sonntag rief uns Norman, der LILY bei sich aufgenommen hatte, an weil sie wieder krank ist…. Also holten wir sie ab, um sie zu beobachten und nochmals zum Tierarzt zu bringen. Sie lief ruhelos im Haus umher, stieß mit dem Kopf vor die Wände und fand keine Ruhe. Ihr ging es schlechter als zuvor. Sie blieb nicht einmal auf dem Arm, was sie immer liebte. Zu ihrem Besten legten wir sie in eine Transportbox, damit sie sich nicht verletzt. 

 Ya su cuerpecito no aguantaba mas. Consultando sus sintomas con el veterinario, todos las pruebas que hicimos y la medicación que tomaba indicaba que debia de tener un tumor celebral. Este tumor primero consumió toda su cabecita, no quieria comer y poco a poco consumió tambien su cuerpecito tan fragil.
And her little body could not stand more. Consulting the symptoms with the veterinarian, all the tests we made and the medication she was taken, showed that she had a brain-tumour. This tumour first consumes around the head and bit by bit it consumes her little fragile body.
Ihr kleiner Körper konnte nicht mehr stehen. Wir konsultierten den Tierarzt mit den Symptomen und nach all den Tests und Medikamenten war die Diagnose dass sie einen Hirntumor hat. Dieser Tumor breitet sich zuerst im Kopf aus und nach und nach in ihrem kleinen zerbrechlichen Körper. Deshalb wollte sie auch nicht mehr fressen.

Hoy por la tarde  decidimos entre todos y los veterinarios que este no era  vida para ella. Con mucho cariño y amor la ayudamos a acabar con su sufrimiento.
Today in the afternoon we decided between all of us and the veterinarians that this is no life for her. With a lot of affection and love we helped her to finish her suffering. 
Heute Nachmittag haben der Tierarzt und wir erkannt, dass das kein Leben für sie ist und sie sich nur quält. Mit viel Zuneigung und Liebe halfen wir ihr, ihr Leiden zu beenden.

Gracias a Norman que cuido todo este tiempo de ella, estamos muy agradecidos que ella recibió con el todo el cariño.
Thanks to Norman who took care of her all this time, we are very grateful that she received all the love from him.

Wir wissen nicht, was in deinem Leben passiert ist. Du kamst vor 3 Wochen zu uns und wir wussten gar nichts von dir, aber wir sind dankbar dass wir dich kennenlernen durften.

Nuevo periódico - A dónde ir en Gran Canaria, New Magazine - Where To Go! On Gran Canaria - Neue Zeitung - "Wo? Hin! auf Gran Canaria"

Desde marzo hay un periódico interesante en Gran Canaria llamado "A dónde ir en Gran Canaria".
Hay información sobre Gran Canaria Pets en cada edición del períodico . Además de nuestros perros "Estamos buscando casa," habrá un artículo sobre diversos temas de perros, como razas de perros, enfermedades del perro, la preparación del perro o el entrenamiento del perro.
Además de un calendario mensual con los eventos en Gran Canaria, hay otros muchos consejos y informaciónes. El periódico es interesante tanto para turistas como para los residentes que quieren conocer y les gusta saber lo que está pasando.

Since March there is for Gran Canaria an interesting newspaper called "Where To Go! On Gran Canaria."
Gran Canaria Pets is in each edition with it. In addition to our dogs, "We are looking for a home," there will be an article on each of the topics dog breeds, dog diseases, dog care or dog training.

Seit März gibt es für Gran Canaria eine neue interessante Zeitung mit Namen "Wo? Hin! auf Gran Canaria".

Neben einen monatlichen Event-Kalender für Gran Canaria, gibt es viele Tipps und Informationen. Die Zeitung ist sowohl für Urlauber als auch für Residenten interessant, die sich gern informieren und wissen wollen, was los ist.

NOTICIAS DE - NEWS FROM - NEUES VON: LISEL-LUPE

 Nos han llegado noticias de LUPE (antes LISEL) desde Tenerife donde está adoptada desde hace un mes.
We received news from LUPE (before LISEL) from Tenerife where she got adopted one month ago. 
Wir erhielten eine Nachricht über LUPE (zuvor LISEL) von Teneriffa, wo sie vor einem Monat adoptiert wurde.

Nos cuentan que  ya es parte de la familia y que están muy contentos de tenerla con ellos.
They are telling us that she is now part of the family and they are very happy to have her. 
Sie schreiben uns, dass sie ein richtiges Familienmitglied ist und sie glücklich sind, sie zu haben.

Le encanta salir a la calle, sube y baja las escaleras como nada e
incluso se ha acostumbrado a hacer sus necesidades en el patio de casa
(en la calle aún no hay manera). Tampoco hay problemas con la comida.
She loves to go out for a walk, goes up and down the stairs as it is nothing and she got used to do her needs on the patio in the house (on the street it`s not possible). Also there are no problems with eating.
Sie liebt es nach draußen zu gehen, die Treppen rauf und runter zu flitzen und hat sich daran gewöhnt, ihre Notdurft im Patio des Hauses zu verrichten (auf der Strasse gibt’s keine Möglichkeiten). Auch mit dem Fressen gibt’s keine Probleme.

Quiere jugar todo el tiempo y nos ha hecho alguna que otra gamberrada
en casa, pero como dice la veterinaria, eso es que está sana.
She wants to play all the time and makes us pranks one after another in the house, but as the veterinarian is telling us, it means that she is healthy. 
Sie möchte die ganze Zeit spielen und spielt uns zu Hause manchen Streich, aber der Tierarzt meint, dass das völlig normal und gesund ist.

SALIDA DE - DEPARTURE OF - ABFLUG VON: SARA!

 Hoy reunimos tres protectoras de la isla en el aeropuerto, GRAN CANARIA PETS, La señora Groos y Michaela de ARME HUNDE.
Today 3 animal protectors on the island got reunited on the airport; GRAN CANARIA PETS, Mrs. Groos and Michaela from ARME HUNDE (poor dogs).
Heute trafen sich am Flughafen drei Tierschutzorganisationen der Insel: GRAN CANARIA PETS, Frau Groos und Michaela von ARME HUNDE.

Los sres. Schumacher vienen cada año dos veces a nuestra isla , gran defensores y protectores de animales y nunca vuelven sin llevar algunos animales.Aqui estamos con SARA que hoy, despues de vivir 2 años en la perrera, porfin tenia la oportunidad de salir de su jaula de menos de 3metros cuadrado.Oliver, voluntario de la perrera de Mogan la llevo ayer con el y paso el gran parte del dia por el Centro/Monte de la isla. Dormi en su casa donde ella se quedo muy tranquilo desfrutando su dia.
Te deseamos mucho suerte SARA, ahora ya te toca tambien a ti para encontrar una vida mejor.
Quieremos tambien demostrar nuestro agradecimiento a los sers. Schumacher que no solo se ofrecieron de llevar a SARA pero tambien se hicieron cargo de pagar su billete!
Mr. and Mrs. Schumacher are coming 2 times a year to our island, they are great defenders and protectors of animals and they never go back without taking animals. Here we are with SARA, who today, after living 2 years in the dog-pound, finally got the opportunity to leave her cage of less than 3 square meters. Oliver, volunteer of the dog-pound Mogan took him yesterday with him and spend a big part of the day in the mountains of the island. She slept in his home where she was very relaxed, enjoying the day. We wish you a lot of luck SARA, now it`s your turn to find a new and better life. 
We also want to thank the couple Schumacher who not only offered to take SARA on their flight, but also paid for her flight!
Die Eheleute Schumacher sind jedes Jahr zweimal auf unserer Insel, sie sind sehr engagierte Helfer und Tierschützer und reisen nie zurück ohne Tiere mitzunehmen. Auf dem Foto sind sie mit SARA zu sehen, die heute nach 2 Jahren im Tierheim in einem Zwinger mit weniger als 3 qm diesen endlich verlassen kann. Oliver, Freiwilliger des Tierheims Mogan, nahm sie gestern mit und verbrachte den größten Teil des Tages mit ihr in den Bergen im Inneren der Insel. Sie schlief bei ihm zu Hause, wo sie nach dem schönen Tag sehr ruhig blieb.
Wir wünschen SARA viel Glück, jetzt ist sie an der Reihe ein besseres Leben zu haben.
Ferner danken wir den Eheleuten Schumacher ganz ganz herzlich dafür, dass sie sich nicht nur als Flugpaten für SARA angeboten haben, sondern obendrein auch die Kosten für ihr Flugticket übernahmen!

CARLINO NECESITA NUEVA FAMILIA - PUG NEEDS A NEW HOME - MOPS BRAUCHT NEUE FAMILIE

 José Luis nos escribe porque no pueden seguir cuidando  su carlino de 9 años:
José Luis is writing us because he can not take care any more of his 9 year old Pug:
José Luis schreibt uns, weil er sich nicht mehr um seinen 9 Jahre alten Mops kümmern kann.

Tenemos un perro Carlino ,  tiene 9 años cuyo dueño tiene actualmente problemas de salud y no puede hacerse cargo de él, con lo que estamos buscando alguien que pudiera adoptarlo,  ha vivido tanto en un chalet como en una casa, se lleva bien con otros animales y con los gatos, de hecho lleva varios años viviendo con dos gatos y antes vivía también con otro perro. Tiene buen comportamiento, es fácil pasear con él y muy obediente.
We have a Pug, he is 9 years old and his owner is having health problems at the moment and is not able to take care of him any more, for that we are looking for somebody who wants to adopt him. He has been living in a chalet, as well in a house. He goes along well with other dogs and also with cats, he has been living several years with two cats and before he was also living with another dog. He has a good behaviour, is easy to walk with and he is very obedient. 
Ich habe einen Mops, er ist 9 Jahre alt und habe jetzt gesundheitliche Probleme, weshalb ich mich nicht mehr um ihn kümmern kann. Daher suche ich nun jemanden, der ihn adoptieren möchte. Er lebte in einem Chalet, ähnlich einem Haus, versteht sich gut mit anderen Tieren und auch Katzen. Früher lebte er tatsächlich mit zwei Katzen und davor auch mit einem anderen Hund. Er ist gut erzogen, gehorsam und Spaziergänge sind absolut problemlos.

MADRE CON CACHORROS EN LA CALLE - MAMMY WITH PUPPIES ON THE STREET - MUTTER MIT WELPEN AUF DER STRASSE

VANESA nos pide ayuda para esta madre con  cachorros que está sola en la calle:
VANESA is asking us for help for this mammy with puppies who are alone on the street:
VANESA bittet für diese Mutter, die mit ihren Welpen auf der Strasse lebt, um Hilfe:

Solicito ayuda para intentar salvar a unos cachorros y su madre, una mestiza grande (desconozco la raza), acaba de parir  aproximadamente a principios de marzo,  están en peligro por algunos vecinos que no los quieren por allí y ya han amenazado con matarlos y han llamado a la perrera, pero la madre no se deja coger (por suerte), y no sé que hacer ahora mismo, pues yo no puedo hacerme cargo.
I am urgently asking for help to rescue this mammy (big unknown breed) with her puppies, who probably were born in the beginning of March. They are in danger, because some neighbours don`t want them there and they have threatened to kill them and they have called the dog-pound, but the mother does not let herself caught (luckily) and I don`t know what to do right now, because I can`t take them in.
Ich bitte dringend um Hilfe beim Versuch die Welpen, die wahrscheinlich Anfang März geboren sind, und ihre Mutter, eine große Mischlingshündin (Rasse unbekannt), zu retten. Sie sind in Gefahr, denn einige Nachbarn, die sie nicht dulden, haben damit gedroht alle zu töten und das Tierheim angerufen. Aber die Mutter ließ sich (zum Glück) nicht einfangen. Ich weiß nicht, was ich jetzt tun soll, denn ich kann sie nicht aufnehmen.

Lo que más me preocupa son los cachorros, son más indefensos, la madre está siendo alimentada, por lo que lo que más urge son sus crías.
What worries me the most are the puppies, because they are most vulnerable, the mother is being fed, so the most urgent are the puppies. 
Was mich am meisten beunruhigt sind die Welpen, sie sind am stärksten gefährdet. Die Mutter wird gefüttert, insofern gilt die größte Sorge ihren Babys.

MIKA Y FRANK, NUEVA ENTRADA, VISITA Y DONACIÓN! - NEUZUGÄNGE, BESUCH UND SPENDE!

 MIKA Y FRANK, dos cachorritos de unos 4 a 5 meses, los dejaron hoy en la perrera. No tuvimos que pensarlo mucho para llevarnoslos.  Ahora estan en  casa de acogida de una voluntaria. MIKA es la hembrita color marroncito ey FRANK es el macho de color crema.
MIKA & FRANK, zwei Welpen im Alter von etwa 4-5 Monaten wurden heute im Tierheim abgegeben. Wir überlegten nicht lange und brachten sie in die Pflegestelle einer unserer Freiwilligen. Die kleine MIKA hat braunes Fell und der Rüde FRANK ist beige.

 Para eligir el nombre no era muy dificil! Michaela y Frank estan otravez de vacaciones en la isla y no dejaron de mimarlos todo el tiempo.Ellos nos trajeron tambien una sopresa donación de MICROCHIPS de Hundenothilfe OWL en Alemania! Quieremos dar las  GRACIAS en nombre de nuestros PERROS y de todos los voluntarios de GRAN CANARIA PETS.
Namen für sie zu finden fiel nicht schwer! Michaela und Frank verbringen wieder ihren Urlaub auf der Insel und verwöhnen in dieser Zeit alle Hunde. Ausserdem brachten sie aus Deutschland zu unserer Überraschung eine Spende der Hundenothilfe OWL mit: Mikrochips! Wir sagen DANKE im Namen unserer HUNDE und aller Freiwilligen von GRAN CANARIA PETS!

 Hoy era un dia de muchas impresiones para los dos cachorros, pero se lo pasaron muy bien con tanta gente y animalitos.
Heute war für die beiden Welpen ein Tag mit vielen Eindrücken, aber sie überstanden die Zeit mit so vielen Menschen und Tieren bestens.

Y poco a poco les entro mucho sueño....y se quedaron asi de dormidos!
Nach und nach wurden sie seeeehr müde…….. und so schliefen sie!

He is in a foster home of one of the volunteers of Gran Canaria Pets. He is already castrated, has a microchip and is vaccinated. 

Er ist bei einer Freiwilligen von Gran Canaria Pets in Pflege. Er ist bereits kastriert, gechipt und geimpft.

 Solo pesa 4,5 kilos, tiene un pelo bonito y sedoso, y es muy bueno, tranquilo y mimoso.
He only weighs 4,5 kilos, has a beautiful silky coat and is very good, tranquil and loving. 
Er wiegt nur 4,5 kg, hat wunderschönes seidiges Fell und ist sehr brav, ruhig und verschmust.

 Es joven y buscamos una casa definitiva para el donde lo quieran y lo mimen como a el le gusta.
He is still young and we are looking for a definitive home where they will love him and pet him as he likes. 
Er ist noch jung und wir suchen ein dauerhaftes Zuhause, wo er geliebt und verwöhnt wird, wie er es mag.

Han estado cuidados en una casa de acogida, y 4 de ellos ya están adoptados.

They were taking care of in a foster home and 4 of them were already adopted.

Sie wurden in einer Pflegestelle versorgt und 4 von ihnen bereits adoptiert.

Esta semana le tocó el turno a los otros 4.  Su mamá de acogida los cuidó con todos los mimos hasta el ultimo instante.
This week it was time for the other 4. Their foster mammy took care of them with all the love she had until the last moment. 
Diese Woche waren die anderen 4 an der Reihe. Ihre Pflegemami kümmerte sich bis zum letzten Moment liebevoll um sie.








El miercoles salieron hacia Alemania TOBA y BILLY.
On Wednesday left to Germany TOBA and BILLY. 

Am Mittwoch flogen TOBA und BILLY nach Deutschland.

 Los Sres.Schrader fueron los padrinos de vuelo,  agradecemos su ayuda y su donación.
Mr. and Mrs. Schrader were the flight attendants, we thank them for their help and donation. 
Herr und Frau Schrader waren ihre Flugpaten, wir danken ihnen für ihre Hilfe und Spende.


Y hoy viernes salieron los dos ultimos: PINKY y BIG.
And today (Friday) the 2 last ones left: PINKY and BIG. 
Am heutigen Freitag flogen die letzten beiden: PINKY und BIG.

Los padrinos de vuelo fueron Conie y   Torsten que tambien tienen un perrito nuestro adoptado, BARI, y vinieron de vacaciones con sus tres perros !!!!
This time the flight attendants were Connie and Torsten who also adopted one of our dogs, BARI and they came here on holiday with their 3 dogs!!! 
Ihre Flugpaten waren Conny und Torsten, die bereits einen unserer Hunde adoptiert haben: BARI. Sie verbrachten ihren Urlaub hier – mit ihren 3 Hunden!!!

SALCHI lebt jetzt bei einer Familie, die uns informierte dass sie mit ihr sehr glücklich sind und sie die Königin des Hauses ist!

Y tambien VICKY no quiso quedarse atras! Recibimos de ella una carta en su nombre! Nos cuenta que la primera noche en la protectora estaba algo asustada por tanto ruido! Pero cuando el dia despues llegaron dos señoras que la llevaron de paseo se porto de lo mas bueno...y claro asi robo el corazon de ellos. Ahora tiene todos los mimos solo para ella de estos dos señoras! Y  anima a sus compis que quedaron atras de venir tambien!
And also VICKY didn`t want to stay behind! We received a cart from her in her name! She is telling us that the first night in the protector she still was a little bit afraid for all the noise! But the next day, after two ladies took her out for a walk, she behaved very well..... and of course she stole their hearts. Now she is having all the love from those two ladies for herself! She is animating all her friend who were left behind to come as well!
Auch VICKY steht dem nicht nach! Wir erhielten von ihr eine Karte in ihrem Namen! Sie schrieb uns, dass sie in ihrer ersten Nacht im Tierheim bei all dem Lärm etwas ängstlich war! Aber am nächsten Tag, als sie von zwei Frauen zum Spaziergang mitgenommen wurde und sie sich sehr brav verhielt….. stahl sie ihre Herzen. Jetzt hat sie alle Lieber der beiden Frauen für sich alleine! Sie ermutigt alle ihre zurückgebliebenen Freunde ebenfalls zu kommen!
