NOTICIAS DE CANELA! NEWS FROM CANELA! - NEUES VON CANELA!

 CANELA fue recogida de la calle donde vivia con un "sin techo", tenia unos 5 meses y asi pudimos evitar camadas no deseados.A los pocos meses podia viajar a Alemania donde una Familia se fijo en ella y pidieron de adoptarla.
CANELA was taken from the street where she was living with a homeless person, she was about 5 months old and like this we could avoid new litters. A few months later a family in Germany saw her  and requested for adoption. 
CANELA wurde von der Strasse geholt, wo sie mit einem Obdachlosen lebte. Sie war ungefähr 5 Monate alt und so konnten wir neue Würfe vermeiden. Nach wenigen Monaten wurde sie von einer Familie in Deutschland gesehen, die sie adoptieren wollte.

 Nuestro contacto ahi paso por la Familia para hacer un control y nos mandaron directamente un vista buena!

Mientras Canela estaba con nosotros, tenia sus voluntarios preferidas asi ella pudo pasear siempre un par de veces al dia!Era y es un encanta de perra!
Our contact there visit the family to make a control and they did send us directly the good sign! In the time Canela was with us she had a lot of volunteers loving her and for that she always went out several times for a walk daily. She was and still is a lovely dog!
Unser dortiger Kontakt besuchte die Familie zur Überprüfung und gab sofort grünes Licht! In der Zeit, in der Canela bei uns war, wurde sie von vielen Freiwilligen geliebt und so wurde sie täglich mehrfach ausgeführt. Sie war und ist ein liebenswerter Hund!

Asi en Junio 2010 ya teniendo unos 11 meses Canela volo a su nueva hogar y como pueden ver....

tiene una familia que la quieren mucho!

So in June 2010, when she had about 11 months Canela left to Germany to her new home and as you can see..... 
she has a family who loves her very much!
Also reiste Canela im Juni 2010 im Alter von 11 Monaten nach Deutschland zu ihrer neuen Familie und wie man sehen kann……… hat sie eine liebevolle Familie!

RON: EN UN SOLAR EN MALAS CONDICIONES ! - ON A PLOT IN BAD CONDITIONS! - UNTER SCHLECHTEN BEDINGUNGEN AUF EINEM GRUNDSTÜCK!

Se llama RON, estaba en la misma finca que la pequeña Vicky, que ya está en una casa de acogida de GRAN CANARIA PETS.

This is RON, he is on the same plot where the little Vicky was, who now is in a foster home of 

GRAN CANARIA PETS. 

Das ist RON, der auf dem gleichen Grundstück ist wo schon Vicky war, die in einer Pflegestelle von GRAN CANARIA PETS untergebracht wurde.

 Pero RON sigue en la finca sin los mínimos cuidados.  Así tenia las uñas (espolones) de sus patas, completamente incrustadas en sus almohadillas, de forma que se enroscaban varias veces y salian por otro lado.  La almohadilla tenia una infección tremenda, llenas de pus, y el pobre perro tenia un dolor horrible.  Ya se le han cortado y dado antibioticos, pero..............
But RON is still on the plot with very little cares. Like this he had his nails, completely embedded in his pads, in a way that they coiled several times and came out on the other side. The pads had a terrible infection and the poor dog had a horrible pain. They are now cut and he is having antibiotics, but.......
Aber RON ist noch immer ohne die geringste Pflege auf der Finca. Auf den Bildern sieht man, dass seine Krallen dermaßen in die Ballen eingewachsen sind, dass sie mehrfach gedreht sind und auf der anderen Seite herauskamen. Die Ballen hatten sich stark entzündet und der arme Hund litt unter fürchterlichen Schmerzen. Jetzt sind sie geschnitten und er bekommt Antibiotika, aber……..

 Es muy muy bueno, se lleva bien con otros perros, pesa 9 kilos, es de tamaño mediano, pero bajo y muy joven.
He is very very good, goes along well with other dogs, weights 9 kilos, is a medium size, but low and still very young. 
Er ist sehr brav, verträgt sich gut mit anderen Hunden, wiegt 9 kg, ist mittelgroß aber niedrig und noch sehr jung.

Necesita una casa para salir de ese solar !!!!
He needs a (foster) home to get out of this plot!!!!
Er braucht dringend ein neues (Pflege-) Heim, damit er von diesem Grundstück herunter kommt!!!!

TRUFO: ESTA EN ACOGIDA!! - IS IN A FOSTER HOME!!! - IST IN EINER PFLEGESTELLE!!

Asi de triste estaba TRUFO el dia que lo sacamos junto con 29 perros mas de la perrera de Santa Brigida el día 30 de Noviembre 2011

Sad like this TRUFO was on the day we took him out together with 29 more dogs of the dog-pound Santa Brigida.

So traurig sah TRUFO aus, als wir ihn zusammen mit 29 weiteren Hunden aus dem Tierheim von Santa Brigida retteten.

 Era el mas maltratado de todos los perros, le faltaba un trozo de su oreja, tenia heridas por todo su cuerpecito. Tenia como irritación de su piel por causa de pulgas y todo su aspecto reflejaba los pocos cuidados que había  tenido en su vida.
He was the most mistreated dogs of all, missing a peace of his ear, had wounds on his whole body. He had an irritated skin caused by fleas and it looked like that he did not have a lot of TLC in his life.
Er war der am meisten misshandelte Hund von allen. Es fehlte ein Stück vom Ohr und der Körper war mit Wunden übersät. Er hatte Hautreizungen durch Flöhe und seine ganze Erscheinung spiegelte die wenige Pflege wider, die er in seinem bisherigen Leben hatte.

    Pero poco a poco recuperó un aspecto mas sano despues de desparasitarlo durante casi 1 mes y con buena comida a diario y los paseos, gracias a los voluntarios.
But bit by bit he recovered and he got a more healthy aspect after being treated for almost 1 month and with becoming food everyday and the walks, thanks to the volunteers.
Aber so nach und nach bekam er ein gesünderes Aussehen, nachdem er fast einen Monat lang behandelt wurde, täglichem Futter und Spaziergänge dank der Freiwilligen.

                                                                                                                                                                      

 Ayer fué para el un dia con muchos cambios! Despues de su paseo lo llevamos en el coche al veterinario. Ya tenia puesta  la primera vacuna, pero faltaba su microchip y la vacuna de la rabia! Tenia una carita de estar soprendido mientras paseamos en el coche!
Yesterday was a day with a lot of changes for him! After his walk we took him in the car to the veterinarian. He already had his first vaccine, but he was still missing his microchip and the rabies-vaccine! He had a surprising face like this in the car!
Gestern war der Tag der großen Veränderung seines Lebens! Nach seinem Spaziergang fuhren wir ihn mit dem Auto zum Tierarzt. Er hatte bereits seine erste Impfung, aber es fehlte noch der Mikrochip und die Tollwutimpfung! Das Foto zeigt seinen überraschten Gesichtsausdruck im Auto!

Y claro tenia mucho razon de estar soprendido! Eugenio que vive en Playa del Ingles abrió la puerta de su casa para ofrecerle un hogar mientras espera su adopción.
And of course he had a lot of reason to be surprised! Eugenio who is living in Playa del Ingles opened the door of his house to offer a home while he is waiting for his adoption.
Natürlich hatte er Grund überrascht zu sein! Eugenio, der in Playa del Ingles lebt, öffnete die Tür seines Hauses, um ihm ein Heim zu bieten während er auf seine Adoption  wartet.

  

Todavia Trufo esta un poco extrañado en su nuevo hogar , pero seguro que  con la ayuda de Eugenio aprendará lo que es VIVIR EN UNA CASA con el cariño de un ser humano!

Gracias Eugenio por ofrecer una oportunidad a TRUFO . Tambien hemos quedado con Eugenio que si finalmente  quiere quedarse con Trufo tiene el derecho de adoptarlo! 

Trufo is still feeling a little bit strange in his new home, but for sure with the help of Eugenio he will learn what it means to LIVE IN A HOME with the love of a human!

Bisher fühlt sich TRUFO noch ein bisschen fremd in seinem neuen Zuhause. Aber mit Eugenios Hilfe wird er sicherlich bald lernen, was es heißt EIN HEIM ZU HABEN mit menschlicher Zuneigung!
Wir danken Eugenio dass er TRUFO diese Chance gibt. Außerdem haben wir mit Eugenio vereinbart, dass er, wenn er TRUFO behalten möchte, das Recht auf Adoption hat!

Heute flogen 3 unserer Hunde nach Deutschland. Dieses Mal waren an der Reihe:

BESSY, estaba en la perrera de Bañaderos porque alguien la habia abandonado.  Otra persona la adoptó, y a los pocos meses se cansó de ella y tambien la abandonó.  Entonces GRAN CANARIA PETS se hizo cargo de ella, y desde entonces estaba en una casa de acogida. 

BESSY, she was in the dog-pound of Bañaderos because she was abandoned. A person adopted her and a few months later they got tiered of her and also abandoned her. So GRAN CANARIA PETS took her in and since that time she was in a foster home.  

BESSY, sie war im Tierheim Bañaderos, weil sie ausgesetzt wurde. Sie wurde adoptiert und einige Monate später war man ihrer überdrüssig und setzte sie auch wieder einfach aus. Deshalb nahm  GRAN CANARIA PETS sie auf und seitdem war sie in einer Pflegestelle.

 

STAR, esta chiquitina aparecio abandonada en la zona sur y entró en la perrera de Puerto Rico.  GRAN CANARIA PETS tambien se hizo cargo de ella y entró en otra casa de acogida.

STAR, this little girl appeared abandoned in the south and was brought in to the dog-pound of Puerto Rico. GRAN CANARIA PETS also took care of her and she stayed in another foster home.

STAR, dieses kleine Mädchen tauchte verlassen im Süden auf und wurde ins Tierheim von Puerto Rico gebracht. GRAN CANARIA PETS kümmerte sich auch um sie und brachte sie in einer anderen Pflegestelle unter.

y CORAL, retirada de la perrera de Santa Brigida, y que estaba desde hace varios meses en una casa de acogida porque sufrió varias operaciones.

and CORAL, taken out of the dog-pound Santa Brigida and was for several months in a foster home because she had several operations. 

Und CORAL – sie wurde aus dem Tierheim Santa Brigida gerettet und war einige Monate in ihrer Pflegestelle, weil sie mehrfach operiert werden musste. 

 Hoy las tres han viajado a Alemania gracias a la amabilidad del Sr. y la Sra. Hofman que actuaron como padrinos de vuelo.
Today the 3 of them travelled to Germany thanks to the kindness of Mr. and Mrs. Hofman who acted as flight attendants. 
Heute konnten die 3 dank der Hilfsbereitschaft von Herrn und Frau Hofman, ihren Flugpaten,  nach Deutschland fliegen.

Las mamas de acogida en Las Palmas se despidieron de sus niñas deseandoles mucha felicidad con sus nuevas familias !
The foster mammy`s in Las Palmas saying farewell to their girls, wishing them a lot of happiness with their new family`s!!! 
Ihre Pflegemütter in Las Palmas verabschiedeten sich von ihren Mädchen, nicht ohne ihnen viel Glück mit ihren neuen Familien zu wünschen!

TOBA: OTRO DE LOS CACHORRITOS DEL CONTENEDOR DE BASURA - ANOTHER PUPPY FROM THE GARBAGE CONTAINER - EINE WELPE AUS DEM MÜLLCONTAINER

Los cachorritos encontrados en el contenedor de basura van creciendo.  Ya tienen 3 meses y medio, y ya se percibe perfectamente las caritas y el aspecro fisico que van a tener cuando sean adultos.

The puppies who were found in the garbage container are growing. They are now 3 and a half months old and you can see now clearly how they will look like when they are going to be adults. 

Die im Müllcontainer gefundenen Welpen wachsen. Sie sind jetzt dreieinhalb Monate alt und man kann schon erkennen, wie Gesicht und Körperbau werden wenn sie erwachsen sind. 

 Esta es TOBA, una hembrita que se está poniendo muy guapa.
This is TOBA, a girl who is getting prettier and prettier.

Das ist TOBA, ein Mädchen, das immer hübscher wird.

 Hoy le toco el baño a ella y la sesión de foto.  Su mami de acogida dice que están para comerselos !!!
Today she became a bath for the photo shooting. Her foster mammy is saying they are for eating!!!
Heute wurde sie für die Fotosession gebadet. Ihre Pflegemami meint: Ist sie nicht zum Fressen süß?

DOS PERROS MACHOS BUSCANDO UNA VIDA MEJOR - TWO MALE DOGS ARE LOOKING FOR A BETTER LIFE - 2 RÜDEN SUCHEN BESSERES LEBEN

Estos dos perros machos llevan viviendo en el campo hace meses. Sobreviven por la comida y agua que estan dejando algunos voluntarios. Por la noche se buscan un refugio entre los arbustos y por el dia es muy dificil para ellos  encontrar sombra, en el sur de la isla no hay arboles! Ya hemos  podido desparasitarlos, pero estos perros merecen (como todos) una vida mejor.  Viven además muy cerca de una carretera y hemos visto (aunque no tiene heridas) que el Podenco cojea un poco cn la pata izq. delantera. Los dos son muy buenos y tienen mas o menos 1 año de edad.  Son muy juguetones. El negro se acerca siempre para saludar y lo podemos acariciar. El Podenco es algo mas desconfiado (ademas tiene miedo a los hombres) pero se acerca tambien para coger golosinas de la mano.
These two male dogs are living in the field for months now. They are surviving on the food and water some volunteers is giving them. In the evening they are searching for a place to sleep and in the daytime it`s difficult to find a place in the shade, in the south of the island there are not a lot of trees! We were able to de-worm them already, but they deserve (like all) a better life. Above that they are living very close to a street and we saw (although they have no wounds) the Podenco is limping a little bit with his left front leg. Both of them are very good and they are about 1 years old. They are very playful. The black one is always coming close to greet and we are able to pet him. The Podenco is bit more distrustful (and is afraid for men) but is coming to take some treats out of your hand.
Diese beiden Rüden leben seit Monaten im Freien. Sie leben von Futter und Wasser, das sie von Freiwilligen bekommen. Abends suchen sie sich einen Schlafplatz und tagsüber haben sie Probleme ein schattiges Plätzchen zu finden, denn im Süden der Insel gibt es nur wenige Bäume! Wir haben es bereits geschafft, sie zu entwurmen, aber sie verdienen (wie alle) ein besseres Leben. Zudem leben sie auch noch nahe einer Hauptstrasse und wir sahen, dass der Podenco mit seinem linken Vorderbein etwas humpelt, aber sie haben keine Wunden. Beide sind sehr lieb, ungefähr ein Jahr alt und sehr verspielt. Der schwarze kommt immer zu uns und lässt sich streicheln. Der Podenco ist etwas misstrauischer (und ängstlich gegenüber Männern), aber nimmt Leckerchen aus der Hand.

Es la unica forma de buscar una familia para ellos y poder darles una vida mejor.

LILI: ADOPTADA - ADOPTED - ADOPTIERT

 

Esta perrita es Lili, la semana pasada nos hicimos cargo de ella, porque habia sido encontrada sola y no se pudo localizar al dueño.

Nuestra compañera Jeanette, voluntaria de Gran Canaria Pets, se la llevó a su casa de acogida. 

This is Lili, last week we took her in, because she was found alone and her owner was not to be found. Our colleague Jeanette, volunteer of Gran Canaria Pets, took her in fostering. 

Diese kleine Hündin ist Lili, die wir letzte Woche aufgenommen hatten, weil sie alleine herumlief und ihr Besitzer nicht ermittelt werden konnte.
Unsere Kollegin Jeanette, Freiwillige bei GRAN CANARIA PETS, nahm sie in ihrer Pflegestelle auf.

 Lili es muy parecida a su otra perrita, y desde el primer momento se adaptó perfectamente a la casa y a la familia, y a los ortros perritos, como si siempre hubiese vivido allí.
Lili is very look alike to her other dog and from the first moment she adapted perfectly in the home and the family and the other dogs, like if she was always living there. 
Lili ähnelt ihrer anderen Hündin sehr und vom ersten Moment an fügte sie sich perfekt in die Familie ein, als wenn sie schon immer dort leben würde.

 Jeanette y su familia no se pudieron resistir al encanto de  Lili, y han decidido......ADOPTARLA!!!!!!
Jeanette and her family couldn`t resist the lovely Lili and decided to....... ADOPT HER!!!!!!!
Jeanette und ihre Familie konnten Lilis Charme nicht widerstehen und entschieden sich….. sie zu ADOPTIEREN!!!

Lili ya tiene lo que buscamos para todos los perros, un hogar y unas personas que la quieran y la cuiden toda su vida.   Felicidades Lili !!!!
Lili has now what we are looking for all our dogs, a home and some people who will love her and take care of for the rest of her life. Congratulations Lili!!!!!

QUEENY: CON SU NUEVO AMIGO - WITH HER NEW FRIEND - MIT IHREM NEUEN FREUND

Nos cuentan que Queeny esta muy a gusto en su cuna enorme y por las mañanas no está para levantarse! La manta roja es la suya y siempre
esta en el sofa,  que es donde mas tiempo pasa!
They are telling us that Queeny is very happy in her new huge bed and in the morning she doesn`t want to get out of it! The red blanket is hers and is always on the couch where she is the most of the time!
QUEENY liebt ihr übergroßes Bettchen, aus dem sie morgens gar nicht aufstehen möchte. Die rote Decke gehört nur ihr und sie liegt immer auf dem Sofa darin, wo sie die meiste Zeit verbringt!







La sopresa fué verla con su nuevo amigo... es ARTI!   Tambien era un perro nuestro!
Era una de las tres.... ; brochas!
The surprise was to see her with her new friend...... ARTI! Also a dog from us! He was one of the 3 brushes!
Wir waren überrascht, sie mit ihrem neuen Freund zu sehen… es ist ARTI! Ebenfalls einer unserer Hunde! Er war einer der drei…. ; Pinsel!


 Quenny (asi se llama ahora) paso por la peluqueria y esta asi de guapa... y parece que cogió ademas un par de gramos mas!
Quenny (her name now) stopped by the dog-groomer and she is pretty like this now...... and it looks like that she did put on some more weight!
Quenny (so heißt sie jetzt) war beim Frisör und sieht jetzt so hübsch aus…. und es scheint, dass sie mittlerweile einige Gramm mehr wiegt!

VICKY: DE PERROS PARTICULARES, YA ESTÁ EN GRAN CANARIA PETS - A PRIVATE DOG NOW TAKEN BY GRAN CANARIA PETS - ERST PRIVAT, JETZT BEI GRAN CANARIA PETS

 Esta perrita es Vicky.  El 28 de Noviembre nos pidieron ayuda para ella, pues estaba en una finca en muy malas condiciones junto a su hermano.  La pusimos en nuestra web en perros particulares para adoptar.
This girl is Vicky. On the 28th of Novembers they asked help for her, because she was on a finca (farm) in very bad conditions together with her brother. We published them on our web-site in the section private for adoption. 
Diese Hündin heißt Vicky. Am 28.November baten wir um Hilfe für sie, weil sie und ihr Bruder auf einer Finca unter schlechten Bedingungen gehalten wurden. Wir stellten sie auf unserer Internetseite unter der Rubrik Privathunde zur Adoption vor.

 Hoy, dos meses despues, Vicky ha podido entrar en una casa de acogida de Gran Canaria Pets, y su hermano ha sido adoptado.
Today, 2 months later, Vicky was able to go to a foster home of Gran Canaria Pets and her brother got adopted. 
Heute, 2 Monate später, kam Vicky in eine Pflegestelle von GRAN CANARIA PETS, ihr Bruder wurde bereits adoptiert.

 Es una perra de tamaño pequeño, solo pesa 5 k., de pelo corto, está esterilizada, tiene 1 año  y es muy buena.
She is a small size breed of 1 year, weights only 5 kilo, short hair, she is sterilized and very sweet.  
Sie ist 1 Jahr alt, klein, wiegt nur 5 kg, hat kurzes Fell, ist sterilisiert und sehr lieb.

 Se ha adaptado muy bien a su nueva situación, se lleva bien con todos los perros, machos y hembras, y es muy obediente y tranquila.
She adapted very well in her new situation, goes along well with other dogs, male and females and she is very obedient and quiet. 

Vicky hat sich sehr gut an die neue Situation angepasst. Sie verträgt sich mit allen Hunden, egal ob Rüden oder Weibchen und ist ruhig und gehorsam.

BIG Y MINA: ESPERANDO ADOPCIÓN - WAITING FOR ADOPTION - WARTEN AUF ADOPTION

Este es BIG, un machito, muy bueno,  uno de los cachorros abandonados en el contenedor de basura.
This is BIG, a boy, very good, one of the puppies found abandoned in a garbage container. 
Das ist BIG, ein Junge, sehr lieb – einer der Welpen, die in den Müllcontainer geworfen wurden.

Y tienen 3 meses y medio, y tienen todas sus vacunas y el microchip.  Están preparados para ser
adoptados.
They are now 3 and a half months old and they have all their vaccinations and microchip. They are prepared to be adopted. 
Sie sind dreieinhalb Monate alt, mittlerweile geimpft und gechipt sowie für die Adoption vorbereitet.

 Son unos cachorros muy bien cuidados y muy felices, solo les falta un hogar definitivo.
They are very well cared puppies and very happy, they only need a final home. 
Sie sind sehr gepflegt und fröhlich, ihnen fehlt jetzt nur noch ein endgültiges Zuhause!

 Y esta es MINA, es una niña, muy simpatica.
And this is MINA, a very lovely girl.  
Und das ist MINA, ein sehr braves Mädchen.

Yesterday they became their first bath (after their last vaccination)
Gestern bekamen sie nach ihrer letzten Impfung ihr erstes Bad.

 Se portaron muy bien, y pueden posar en las fotos así de guapos y limpitos.
They behaved very well and they posed clean and pretty like this.
