LADY tenía muchísimo miedo, toda su vida atada a una cadena. Ni encontramos alrededor de ella un cacharrito de agua.
LADY is really terrified, all her life she has been attached on a chain. We could not even found a bowl with water around her.
LADY ist völlig verängstigt, sie war ihr ganzes Leben angekettet. Wir konnten nicht einmal einen Napf mit Wasser in ihrer Nähe finden.
Seguro que estaba atada a la cadena desde cachorra y cuando nos la llevamos no podía ni caminar. La llevamos en brazos y era solo huesos lo que tocamos.
For sure she was attached on the chain since she was a puppy and when we wanted to take her she could not even walk. We had to take carry her in our arms and it was only bones when we touched her.
Mit Sicherheit wurde sie schon an die Kette gebunden, als sie noch ein kleiner Welpe war und als wir sie mitnehmen wollten, konnte sie nicht einmal laufen. Wir mussten sie auf den Arm nehmen und spürten nur Haut und Knochen.
Ella es muy joven, no pasa de los dos años (si los tiene!) La revisión por el veterinario no fue tan mala! No tiene Filaria, ni enfermedades transmitidas por las garrapatas.
Pedimos una analítica general que indicaba que tenia un poco de infección, y claro como pudimos imaginarnos..ANEMIA.
She is still very young, not older than 2 years. The revision at the veterinarian thank god was not so bad! She has no heart-worm and no sickness transmitted by ticks. We requested a general analytic which indicated she had a little bit of an infection and of course as we could imagine ...... ANAEMIA.
Sie ist noch sehr jung, nicht älter als 2 Jahre (wenn überhaupt!). Die Untersuchung beim Tierarzt ergab zum Glück keine gravierenden Krankheiten wie Herzwurm oder durch Zecken übertragene Infektionen. Wir baten um eine umfassende Analyse. Dabei kam heraus, dass sie eine leichte Infektion hat und wie wir schon vermuteten…. ANÄMIE.
Todavía está algo triste su mirada, pero ya mueve su rabito! Se acuesta en su cuna y le encanta cuando le hacemos mimitos. Ahora necesita recuperarse, comer bien para coger un poco de peso y caminatas cortas para desarrollar un poco mas de musculatura.
Her look is still a little bit sad, but she is already moving her tail! When she is lying down in her bed, she loves it when we cuddle and pamper her. Now she needs to recover, eat well to put on some weight and make short walks to develop a little more muscles.
Sie schaut noch ein wenig traurig, aber sie wedelt schon mit dem Schwanz! Wenn sie in ihrem Körbchen liegt, liebt sie es gekrault zu werden. Jetzt muss sie sich erst einmal erholen, ordentlich futtern damit sie Gewicht zulegt und vorerst kurze Spaziergänge zum Aufbau der Muskulatur.
También recogimos a DAMA del mismo sitio. Ella vivía dentro de la chabola, pero también con mucho miedo. Parece que entre los perros hay bastante peleas porque DAMA se quedó sentada como pudo en lo mas alto.
We also took DAMA in from the same place. She was living inside the shack and also with a lot of fear. It seemed that there are a lot of fights between the dogs because DAMA was sitting as high as she could.
Auch DAMA holten wir dort heraus. Sie lebte in der Hütte, hat aber ebenfalls viel Angst. Es scheint so, als wenn es zwischen den Hunden viele Kämpfe gegeben hatte, denn DAMA sitzt immer so hoch wie irgend möglich.
Ella también muy asustada y aquí sentada en el coche junto con POTTER, un cachorro de podenco del mismo lugar. Sylvia, voluntaria de la perrera de Puerto Rico se hizo cargo de él.
She was also very scared and her you see sitting together with POTTER, a podenco puppy from the same place. Sylvia, volunteer of the dog-pound Puerto Rico took charge of him.
Auch sie ist sehr verängstigt und sitzt hier zusammen mit POTTER, einem Podenco-Welpen vom gleichen Ort. Sylvia, eine Freiwillige des Tierheims Puerto Rico, kümmerte sich um ihn.

Im Haus angekommen…. erst einmal Flöhe entfernen und ein ordentliches Bad!
Una vez seca la presentamos a los demás animales en la casa de acogida y para ella era un terror! Gritaba de miedo cuando uno de ellos se le acercaba. Buscó una caja de cartón con una manta encima y ahí se quedó toda la noche y el día siguiente.
Once she was dry we presented her to the other animals in the house and for her this was a big terror! She was screaming of fear when one of the others got close to her. We looked for a carton box with a blanket and putted it somewhere high, and there she stayed for the rest of the night and the next day.
Nach dem Trocknen stellten wir sie den anderen Tieren der Pflegestelle vor, was sie fürchterlich in Angst und Schrecken versetzte! Sie schrie vor Angst, sobald sich eines von ihnen näherte. Daher suchten wir einen passenden Karton mit einer Decke darin, den wir hoch stellten und sie blieb die ganze Nacht und den nächsten Tag darin.
No bajó ningún momento! Ni para comer! Y sin hacer sus necesidades!
She did not come down any moment, not even to eat and without doing her needs!
Sie verließ ihn keine Sekunde, nicht einmal zum fressen oder zur Notdurft!
Pero el domingo por la noche pensó ella... esto no es vida! El lunes por la mañana saludó a todos en la casa de acogida... a los de dos y 4 patas!
But on Sunday night she must have been thinking..... this is not life! On Monday morning she greeted everybody in the foster home...... the 2 and the 4 legs!
Aber Sonntagnacht dachte sie wohl… das ist doch kein Leben! Montagmorgen begrüßte sie alle in der Pflegestelle…. die 2- und die 4-Beiner!
También DAMA es todavía muy joven, unos max. dos años y ahora es muy alegre! También ella pasó por el veterinario y su test de filaria dió negativo. Tiene sus vacunas y chip. Solo queda pendiente su castración.
DAMA is also still very young, about 2 years and now she is very happy! She also went to the veterinarian and her heart-worm test was negative. She has now her vaccines and microchip. Only her castration is pending.
Auch DAMA ist noch sehr jung, ein bis maximal zwei Jahre und ist jetzt sehr fröhlich! Auch sie war beim Tierarzt und ihr Herzwurmtest fiel negativ aus. Jetzt hat sie ihre Impfungen und einen Chip. Nur ihre Sterilisation steht noch aus.
