TRABAJO DE VOLUNTARIO EN LA PERRERA - VOLUNTEER WORK AT THE DOG-POUND - EHRENAMTLICHE ARBEIT IM TIERHEIM

 Amon es un chico de casi 10 años y le encantan los animales.Sus padres y abuelos le han enseñado desde pequeño que tiene que respetar y ayudar a los animales abandonados. Ahora esta aquí de vacaciones y como ayudamos tambien en la perrera de Puerto Rico el vino hoy para ayudar! Y como ha ayudado!! Primero hay que preparar el recinto de recreo poniendo agua para rellenar la piscina! Despues a pasear a los perros!
Amon is a boy from 10 years old who loves animals. His parents and grandparents learned him since he was little that you have to respect and help the abandoned animals. Now he is here on holiday and because we are also helping at the dog-pound Puerto Rico, he came today as well to help! And how he helped!! First he prepared the recreation area with putting water and filling up the swimming-pool! After he went out to walk the dogs!
Amon ist ein 10 Jahre alter Junge, der Tiere liebt. Seine Eltern und Großeltern brachten ihm von klein auf bei, dass man bedürftige Tiere respektieren und ihnen helfen muss. Jetzt ist er wieder in den Ferien hier, und weil wir auch im Tierheim Puerto Rico helfen, kam er heute als Verstärkung ebenfalls mit! Und wie er half!! Zuerst füllte er im Freigehege  die Wassernäpfe und den Swimming-Pool. Danach ging er mit den Hunden Gassi!

También hay tiempo para conversar con ellos y darles mimos! Y como que no...prepararles  la comida!
He also had time to have a conversation with the dogs and pampered them! And as well preparing the food!
Er nahm sich auch Zeit, mit den Hunden zu reden und sie zu streicheln. Und bereitete das Futter vor!

 Despues el reparto del pienso.
And than distribute the food. 
Danach verteilte er die Mahlzeiten.

 Cuando todos han comido..... a fregar los platos!
When they all have been eating..... doing the dishes!
Als alle gefressen hatten…. wusch er ab!

Y al final de la mañana..... todos los perros ya tranquilos devueltos a sus jaulas!Con las camitas limpias y con toallas . Y antes de salir...un último premio !
And at the end of the morning..... all the dogs relaxed back in their cages! With clean beds and a towel. And before leaving..... a last treat!
Am Ende des Vormittags….. waren alle Hunde entspannt zurück in ihren Zwingern! Mit sauberen Betten und Handtuch. Und vor der Abfahrt…. ein letztes Leckerchen!

 Como Shana es la ultima perra que entró ayer en la perrera, todavía esta un poco asustada..... Amon entró en la jaula de ella para también repartir el premio. Shana es una perra de unos 5 años... grande como un pastor...pero muy buena!
Because Shana is the last dogs who came into the dog-pound yesterday, she is still a little bit afraid......Amon went into her cage to give her as well a treat. Shana is dog from about 5 years old..... big like a shepherd..... but very nice and good!
Weil Shana der letzte Hund ist, der gestern ins Tierheim kam, ist sie noch etwas ängstlich… Amon ging in ihren Zwinger um ihr ebenfalls ein Leckerchen zu geben. Shana ist ungefähr 5 Jahre alt…. groß wie ein Schäferhund….. aber sehr sehr lieb!

Gracias Amon, por tu gran ayuda y tu cariño hacia los animales. Como todavía le quedan algunos días mas de vacaciones nos prometió volver a ayudar el próximo sábado!
Thank you Amon for your big help and love for the animals. Because he still has some holiday days left, he promised us to come back and help on Saturday!

BUSCA ADOPTANTE/HOGAR - LOOKING FOR AN ADOPTER/HOME - SUCHT ADOPTION/ZUHAUSE

Brenda nos pide ayuda para encontrar una familia para esta perrita. La han dejado en su jardín y no puede tener mas animales.
La perrita es muy joven todavía y la dejaron sin vacunas o microchip.
Brenda is asking us to help to fine a family for this little girl. Somebody left her in her garden and she can not have more animals.
The dog is still very young and they left her without vaccines and microchip. 
Brenda bittet um Hilfe bei der Suche nach einer neuen Familie für diese Kleine. Jemand setzte sie in ihrem Garten aus und sie kann keine weiteren Tiere halten.
Der Hund ist noch sehr jung und wurde ohne Impfungen und Mikrochip zurückgelassen.

NEGRITO: UN PERRITO MALTRATADA - A MISTREATED DOG - MISSHANDELTER HUND

ADOPTADO !!!!

"Soy Negrito, tengo un año aproximadamente, me dejaron abandonado y un día aparecí en casa de Irina, la chica que me está cuidando, delante de la puerta de su casa.  Estuve allí durante un día entero, la seguí a ella y a su hija cuando salían de casa, a su regreso...Por eso decidieron acogerme y se dieron cuenta de que tenía una herida horrible en la cabeza y otra en el cuello, las dos provocadas por maltrato. Gracias a sus cuidados, estas heridas se encuentran ya curadas. Soy un perro muy bueno y simpático, juguetón y superleal. Irina va a seguir cuidándome el tiempo que haga falta, pero estoy buscando una familia que pueda darme un hogar".
"I am Negrito, I am about 1 years old, they left me abandoned and one day I appeared at the door of the house of Irina, the girl who is taking care of me now. I was there all day, I followed her and her daughter when they left their home, when they went back home..... For that they decided to take me in and they saw that I had a horrible wound on my head and another one in my neck, both caused of mistreating. Thanks to their cares, these wounds are cured now. I am a very good and sympathetic dog, playful and super loyal. Irina will continue to take care of me as long as it takes, but I am looking for a family who will give me a definitive home."
„Ich heiße Negrito, bin ungefähr 1 Jahr alt. Sie setzten mich aus und eines Tages tauchte ich an Irinas Tür auf, die mich jetzt bei sich aufnahm. Ich blieb dort tagsüber, folgte ihr und ihrer Tochter wenn sie rausgingen, und wieder zurück nach Hause….. Daher entschieden sie sich, mich reinzuholen und sahen dann die schreckliche Wunde auf meinem Kopf und die andere im Nacken, beide verursacht durch Misshandlungen. Dank ihrer Pflege sind die Wunden jetzt verheilt. Ich bin ein sehr lieber und sympathischer Hund, verspielt und sehr anhänglich. Irina wird sich so lange wie nötig um mich kümmern, aber ich suche eine Familie, die mir ein endgültiges Zuhause gibt.“

 Virginia y Jose Juan están buscando para él un nuevo hogar.
Por razones personales, GIBSON pasa muchas horas solo en casa.
El es limpio, cariñoso y está acostumbrado a vivir en familia.
Le encanta  pasear en el coche con su ventanilla bajada para recibir el aire!
Virginia and Jose Juan are looking for a new home for him. 
For personal reasons, GIBSON is for many hours alone in the house. He is clean inside the house, sweet and is used to live with a family. He loves to go for a ride in the car with the windows down, the wind into his face.

 Hace poco presentamos a Cocó, una perrita salvada por MªEugenia y su marido en el barrio "el Sebadal" en Las Palmas.
Only a while ago we presented to you Cocó, a little girl saved by MªEugenia and her husband in the borough "el Sebadal" in Las Palmas. 
Erst vor kurzem stellten wir Cocó vor, das kleine Mädchen, das von Frau Eugenia und ihrem Mann im Bezirk „el Sabadal“ in Las Palmas gerettet wurde.

 Hoy era su " GRAN DIA" !!  Oddvar nos pidió conocerla y adoptarla!
Today was his "BIG DAY"!! Oddvar asked us to meet her and adopted her!
Heute war ihr „GROSSER TAG“!! Oddvar bat uns um ein Treffen um sie zu adoptieren!

GRACIAS a todas estas personas la vida de  COCÓ cambió para siempre ! FELICIDADES!!

TOBY & LINDA: SU TRISTE HISTORIA - THEIR SAD STORY - IHRE TRAURIGE GESCHICHTE

Los dos son hermanos y tienen 7 años. Una señora vino el pasado viernes por la tarde a una de nuestras casas de acogida... comentando que había pedido ayuda en varias protectoras.. que ninguna quiso hacerse cargo de los perros , que ella no podía acogerlos y mas detalles de la triste historia.... Los perros eran de su padres, muy mayores y enfermos , ni ella ni su hermano podían cuidarlos por graves problemas económicos... y que los perros estaban casi sin atender, comía cada 3 o 4 dias.... y muchos mas detalles.
They are brother and sister and they are 7 years old. One lady went on last friday in the afternoon to one of our foster homes...... telling that she asked for help in several protectors.... that nobody wanted to take care of them, that she could not take them and more details of the sad story.... The dogs were from her parents, very old and sick, not she or her brother are able to take care of them because of serious economic problems..... and that the dogs are without almost any attention, food each 3 or 4 days.... and a lot more details. 
Sie sind Geschwister und 7 Jahre alt. Eine Frau kam letzte Woche Freitagnachmittag zu einer unserer Pflegestellen….. und sagte uns, dass sie bereits bei einigen Tierschützern um Hilfe gebeten hatte…. und dass niemand sie aufnehmen wollte, sie sie nicht nehmen kann und weitere Details der traurigen Geschichte…. Die Hunde sind von ihren Eltern, die sehr alt und krank sind und weder ihr Bruder noch sie sind wegen ernsthafter finanzieller Probleme in der Lage sie aufzunehmen….. und dass sich kaum jemand um sie kümmern kann, Futter nur alle 3-4 Tage…. und vieles weitere.

 No entendemos cómo esta chica pudo llegar a la casa de acogida de nuestra compañera Gloria, que vive en el municipio de Mogán, aún nos hacemos esa pregunta pero, cuando preguntamos por los perros, abrieron el portabultos del coche ( un coche pequeño) y con todo el calor que hacía en el sur , allí estaban. Nada mas verlos, Gloria se sentio muy impotente, los ojitos de ambos reflejaban mucha tristeza, olían fatal, muy mal cuidados, unas uñas larguísimas...
We don`t understand how this lady got to the house of the foster home of our colleague Gloria, who is living in the city Mogán. When we asked for the dogs, they opened the door of the car (small car) and with all the heat in the south, they were in the car. Only seeing them, Gloria felt very helpless, they looked very sad, smelt horrible, very bad taken care of, very long nails....   
Wir hatten keine Ahnung, wie sie auf das Haus unserer Kollegin Gloria kam, die in Mogán Stadt lebt. Als wir nach den Hunden fragten, öffnete sie die Tür eines Kleinwagens und trotz der Hitze hier im Süden warn die Hunde im Auto. Der Anblick verschlug Gloria die Sprache, die Hunde waren in einem jämmerlichen Zustand, stanken fürchterlich, waren verwahrlost, hatten zu lange Krallen….

 Ella no se lo pensó mucho y dejo entrar a los dos en la casa. La familia de los perros tenían un plan preparado, con la intención de dejarlos en algun sitio..... a su suerte!. Eso si,  pidiendo por favor que no les matasen y les diesen una oportunidad de encontrar una familia.
She didn`t think twice and opened her door for them. The family of the dogs had a plan prepared, with the intention to leave them in some place..... on their luck! That yes, asking please not to kill them and to give them the opportunity to find a family. 
Sie überlegte nicht lange und holte die Hunde ins Haus. Die Familie der Hunde hatte sich schon einen Plan bereitgelegt, mit der Absicht, die Hunde irgendwo auszusetzen…. und sie ihrem Schicksal zu überlassen! Bevor das passiert, ist es so besser und es besteht die Chance, eine Familie für sie zu finden.

 No nos parece muy bien que las personas abandonen así a sus perros. Entendemos que cada uno tiene sus problemas...pero tambien nosotros tenemos una lista de  espera para entrar y encontrar una nueva familia y una nueva vida.
For us it doesn`t seem that people abandon their dogs like this. We do understand that each one has his problems..... but we also have a waiting list to let dogs in to find a new family and a new life. 
Wir haben kein Verständnis dafür, dass Leute ihre Hunde einfach aussetzen wollen. Wir verstehen, dass jeder seine Probleme hat…. aber wir bieten allen an, dass ihr Hund auf unsere Warteliste kommt, damit wir eine neue Familie und eine neue Zukunft für ihn finden.

Ahora TOBY & LINDA están a salvo y entre GRAN CANARIA PETS y la perrera Municipal de Mogán , intentaremos buscar una familia para ellos.
Aunque Gloria tiene ahora muchísimos perros y gatos a su cuidado...abrió otravez su puerta para cuidarles y mimarles. Pero antes de todo... un corte de pelo, uñas y un BAÑO!!!
Now TOBY & LINDA are saved and between GRAN CANARIA PETS and the dog-pound Municipal of Mogán we will try to find them a new family. 
Although Gloria is having already a lot of dogs and cats to take care of...... again she opened her door to take care of them and pamper them. But before all that..... first a new look, clipping nails and a BATH!!!
Jetzt sind TOBY & LINDA gerettet und GRAN CANARIA PETS und das Städtische Tierheim von Mogán werden gemeinsam versuchen eine neue Familie für sie zu finden.
Obwohl Gloria schon etliche Hunde und Katzen in Pflege hat…. wieder öffnete sie ihre Tür um sie aufzunehmen und zu pflegen. Aber vor allem….. einen neuen Look, Krallen schneiden und ein BAD!!!

This little brown boy with green eyes is CHOCO who got adopted in the beginning of July. 

Dieser kleine braune Bursche mit den grünen Augen ist CHOCO, der Anfang Juli adoptiert wurde.

Su familia nos envia estas fotos para que veamos que guapo y feliz se encuentra en su nuevo hogar.
His family is sending us these pictures so we can see how handsome and happy he is in his new home. 
Seine Familie schickte uns diese Fotos, damit wir sehen können, wie gut es ihm in seinem neuen Zuhause geht und wie glücklich er ist.

La verdad es que nos encanta verlo así y queremos conpartir estas imagenes con todos.
It makes us very happy to see him like this and we want to share these pictures with everybody.

FIFI Y MOJITO: DOS DIABLILLOS - TWO DEVILS - ZWEI TEUFELCHEN

 FIFI, NALA Y MOJITO, los tres cachorros encontrados junto a los contenedores de la basura en Las Palmas.
NALA ya está adoptada. 
FIFI, NALA and MOJITO, the 3 puppies found near to the garbage containers in Las Palmas. 
NALA is already adopted. 
FIFI, NALA und MOJITO sind die 3 Welpen, die bei einem Müllcontainer in Las Palmas gefunden wurden. NALA ist bereits adoptiert.

 Estos dos muñequitos, FIFI (hembra) y MOJITO (macho) están buscando familia.
These 2 little dolls, FIFI (girl) and MOJITO (boy) are still looking for a family. 
Diese beiden Püppchen FIFI (Mädchen) und MOJITO (Junge) suchen noch eine Familie.

 En su casa de acogida de Gran Canaria Pets se lo pasan en grande, haciendo todas las trastadas de su edad y quedandose rendidos después.
In their foster home of Gran Canaria Pets they are having a good time, doing all the pranks of their age and staying worn-out later. 
In ihrer Pflegestelle bei Gran Canaria Pets geht es ihnen blendend. Sie hecken  Streiche aus wie alle in ihrem Alter und ruhen sich anschließend zusammen aus.

 FIFI, la hembra, es un poco mas pequeña de tamaño, la carita mas oscura, es preciosa.
FIFI, the girl, is a little bit smaller than the boy, with the face a little bit darker, she is beautiful. 
FIFI, das Mädchen, ist etwas kleiner als der Junge, hat ein etwas dunkleres Gesicht und ist bildhübsch.

MOJITO es muy parecido, pero de color un poquito mas claro,
MOJITO looks very much the same, only the color a little bit more lighter.
MOJITO ist sehr ähnlich, nur das Fell ist ein bisschen heller.

Los dos son muy divertidos y juguetones.
Ya están vacunados, y son unos perritos felices que buscan una familia definitiva para seguir siendo felices.
Both are very funny and playful. They are already vaccinated and they are two very happy dogs who are looking for a definitive family to stay happy. 
Beide sind sehr amüsant und verspielt. Sie sind bereits geimpft und fröhliche Hunde, die endgültige Familien suchen wo sie es auch bleiben können.
