SALIDA DE - DEPARTURE OF - ABFLUG VON: ROVER & ROSI

 ROSI & ROVER fueron encontrados en el campo en el municipio de Mogan y llevados a la perrera de Puerto Rico por un voluntario. ROSI tenia todo su cuello abierto, posiblemente por la dentadura de un animal. Estaba muy mal y la llevaron al veterinario enseguida. Claro en estas condiciones no podia quedarse en la perrera y los dos entraron en una casa de acogida de gran Canaria Pets. Una vez recuperados se pudieron vacunar.

ROSI and ROVER were found in the field in Mogan and brought to the dog-pound Puerto Rico by a volunteer. ROSI had her neck open with wounds, possibly because of bites by an animal. She was in a real bad state and they took her immediately to the veterinarian. Of course like this she could not stay at the dog-pound. Ones she recovered she received her vaccines. 
ROSI & ROVER wurden auf dem Land bei Mogan gefunden und von einer Freiwilligen ins Tierheim Puerto Rico gebracht. ROSI hatte offene Wunden im Genick, vermutlich durch Bisse eines anderen Tieres. Sie war in einem wirklich schlechten Zustand und wurde sofort zum Tierarzt gebracht. Natürlich konnte sie so nicht im Tierheim bleiben. Nachdem sie genesen war, bekam sie ihre Impfungen.

 La ultima revisión en la clinica!Ya tienen unos 5 meses y no han crecidos mucho!
The last check at the veterinarian! They are now about 5 months old and they didn`t really grow that much!
Die letzte Untersuchung in der Klinik! Sie sind jetzt 5 Monate alt und nicht viel grösser geworden!

Todos querian salir en las fotos con ellos! Son tan alegres, aunque en el aeropuerto ya quedaron casi dormidos!
Everybody wanted to go on the pictures with them! They are so happy dogs, although at the airport they were almost falling a sleep!
Jeder wollte mit ihnen fotografiert werden! Sie sind fröhliche Hunde, auch wenn sie am Flughafen fast eingeschlafen sind!


Gracias a la Fam. Lohfe, los padrinos de vuelo, los dos viajaron a Alemania donde pronto entrarán en sus nuevas casas! Suerte chicos!!
Thanks to the Lohfe family, the flight attendants, they were able to travel today to Germany, where they soon will go to their new homes!! Good luck!!!

VISITA AL VETERINARIO - VISIT TO THE VETERINARIAN - BESUCH BEIM TIERARZT

 La semana pasada tocó revisión a todos los pequeños/as.

 Los 4 de la caja de carton encontrados en la basura han crecido un poco mas..aunque sigue siendo muy pequeños de tamaño!
The 4 from the box found in the garbage have grown a litte bit.... although they are still very small size!
Die 4, die in einem Karton beim Müll gefunden wurden, sind ein wenig gewachsen….. aber sie sind immer noch sehr klein!

 De DULCE solo podemos ver un poco de su lomo en la foto, pero como pueden ver en la foto de abajo... esta completamente recuperada y muy comoda tumbado en el sofa en la casa de acogida!
From DULCE we can only see a little bit of her back on the picture, but as you can see on the picture under.... she is completely recovered and very comfortable laying down on the couch in the foster home!
Von DULCE kann man nur einen Teil sehen, aber wie man auf dem Foto unten erkennen kann…….. hat sich vollständig erholt und liegt bequem auf dem Sofa der Pflegestelle!

NALA: ADOPTADA - ADOPTED - ADOPTIERT!!!!!!

NALA apareció hace poco abandonada junto a sus hermanos FIFI y MOJITO en la basura,  en un barrio de Las Palmas.
NALA appeared not long ago abandoned in the garbage together with her sister FIFI and brother MOJITO, in an area in Las Palmas.
NALA , ihre Schwester FIFI sowie Bruder MOJITO wurden vor kurzem in der Gegend von Las Palmas gefunden, wo sie im Müll „entsorgt“ wurden.

Los 3 entraron en casas de acogida de Gran Canaria Pets.
The 3 went to a foster home of Gran Canaria Pets. 
Die 3 wurden in einer Pflegestelle von Gran Canaria Pets untergebracht.








Y NALA ha sido la primera en ser adoptada por una familia de Las Palmas.
And NALA is the first one who got adopted by a family in Las Palmas.
NALA wurde als erste von einer Familie aus Las Palmas adoptiert.

NALA se ha adaptado estupendamente a su nueva casa, y todos estan muy contentos con ella.

Nala adapted very well in her new home and everybody is very happy with her. 

NALA lebte sich sehr schnell in ihrem neuen Zuhause ein und jeder hat sie in sein Herz geschlossen.

ESTE ES UN CASO QUE NOS DEJA SIN PALABRAS Y SIN ALIENTO.
THIS IS A CASE THAT LEFT US WITHOUT WORDS AND BREATHLESS. 
DAS IST EIN FALL DER UNS SPRACHLOS MACHT UND DEN ATEM RAUBT!

Así apareció este gatito, abandonado junto a 2 hermanitos mas, debajo de un coche en un barrio de Telde.
Like this appeared this little kitten, abandoned together with 2 kittens more, under a car in a neighborhood in Telde.  
In diesem Zustand wurde ein Kätzchen zusammen mit 2 weiteren Geschwistern unter einem Auto in der Umgebung von Telde gefunden.

Tenia un ojo monstruoso, de color rojo, no podiamos saber que le pasaba, lo ingresamos inmediatamente en la clinica veterinaria.
Lo operaron de urgencia, le abrieron el ojo y nadie se podia creer lo que estaban viendo:
He had a monstrous eye, red colored, we had no idea what happened, we immediately admitted her into the veterinarian clinic. 
They urgently operated her, they opened the eye and nobody could believe what they saw: 
Es hatte ein riesiges rotes Auge und wir hatten keine Ahnung was passiert war, aber wir brachten ihn schnellstens in eine Tierklinik.
Bei der sofortigen Notoperation wurde das Auge geöffnet und keiner konnte glauben was er sah:

Le habian incrustado dentro del ojo una bola grande de plastico de color rojo.   Debajo no estaba el ojo, estaba vacio !!! 
Somebody inlaid a big, red, plastic ball. Under that the eye was not there, it was empty!!!

Jemand hatte ihr eine große rote Plastikkugel hinein gedrückt. Darunter war kein Auge sondern nur noch die leere Augenhöhle!!!

                                                                                                              

Han tenido que coser el hueco.  Al menos ahora ya no sufre. 

They had to sew the hole. At least he is not suffering anymore.

Das Loch wurde vernäht. Wenigstens muss er nicht mehr leiden.

Es un gatito de unos dos meses, muy bueno y tranquilo.  Está en una casa de acogida, pero necesitamos un adoptante para el.

He is a kitten from about 2 months old, very sweet and tranquil. 

He is now in a foster home, but we need an adopter for him. 

Das Kätzchen ist ein bis zwei Monate alt, sehr lieb und ruhig. Er ist momentan in einer Pflegestelle, soll aber schnellstmöglich vermittelt werden.

 STELLA, su dueño la dejó  en noviembre 2011 (con varios hermanos mas!) en la perrera de Puerto Rico. Como pueden ver.... ella esta muy bien y feliz!
STELLA, her owner left her in November 2011 (with several brothers/sisters more) in the dog-pound Puerto Rico. As you can see...... she is very happy!
STELLA – ihr Herrchen gab sie und ihre Geschwister im November 2011 im Tierheim von Puerto Rico ab. Wie man sehen kann…… ihr geht es gut und sie ist sehr glücklich!

 TOBA se llama ahora Muffin y tiene un amigo gato que se llama Henry.  Los dos son grandes amigos y cuenta su nueva dueña que lo mejor que ha hecho es adoptar a TOBA.
Toba fué uno de los cachorros que tiraron  en una caja de carton dentro de un contenador de la basura!
TOBA, now called Muffin, is having a cat friend called Henry. They are big friends together and the owner is telling us that it was the best thing she did to adopt TOBA.
Toba was one of the puppies thrown in a box in a garbage container! 
TOBA heißt jetzt Muffin und hat eine Katze namens Henry zum Freund. Sie sind innige Freunde und Frauchen verriet uns, dass es eine gute Entscheidung war, TOBA zu adoptieren. Toba war eine der Welpen, die in einen Müllcontainer geworfen wurden!

 CHARLY otro mas que fue entregado en la perrera de Puerto Rico por su dueño.  Lo recogimos y llevamos a la casa de una voluntaria de GRAN CANARIA PETS.
CHARLY another one who was left by his owner at the dog-pound Puerto Rico. We took him and brought him to a foster home of GRAN CANARIA PETS. 
CHARLY, ein weiterer Hund, der im Tierheim von Puerto Rico abgegeben wurde. Wir nahmen ihn auf und brachten ihn in einer Pflegestelle von GRAN CANARIA PETS unter.

Su familia esta muy contenta con el, ya crecio unos 7 cm. mas,  igual que su melena! Es un encanto de perro y muy alegre!
Tiene muchisima energia, no le gusta quedarse un rato solo en casa y estan enseñandole que no a todo el mundo le gusta su forma de saludar.... lamiendo la cara!!!
His new family is very happy with him, he got 7 cm bigger, same as his hair! He is a very happy and lovely dog!
He has a lot of energy, does not like it to stay alone in the house for a while and they are teaching him, that not everybody likes it the way he is saying hello..... liking the face of the people!!!!
Seine neue Familie ist sehr glücklich mit ihm, er ist 7 cm gewachsen – sein Fell auch! Er ist ein fröhlicher und liebenswerter Hund!
Er hat jede Menge Energie und mag es überhaupt nicht, eine Zeitlang alleine im Haus zu bleiben. Sie bringen ihm jetzt bei, dass nicht jeder seine Begrüßung mag…… durchs Gesicht lecken!!!!

LA HISTORIA - THE HISTORY OF - DIE GESCHICHTE VON: DE KIRA/LAIKA

 Recibimos esta mañana, domingo, una llamada de una señora desde un complejo en Playa del Ingles. Nos comenta que desde ayer hay ahi una perra, Presa Canaria, en los jardines del compleajo. Que llamaron a la policia..... pero en San Bartelomé de Tirajana la policia contesta:    "No tenemos recogida de perros, la perrera esta precintada, el ayuntamieinto no funciona los fines de semana"....... pero si le han dado el numero de telefono de la protectora de animales Gran Canaria Pets!!!   Igual si es de dia, fin de semana o de noche!
This morning, Sunday, we received a call from a lady from a complex in Playa del Inglés. She was telling us that since yesterday there is a dog, a Presa Canaria, in the gardens of the complex. They called the police..... but in San Bartelomé de Tirajana the police contested with: "We have no dog collector, the dog-pound is closed and the council is not functioning in the weekends"...... but they gave the phone number of the animal protector Gran Canaria Pets!!!! Doesn`t metter if it`s daytime, weekend or nighttime!
Am heutigen Sonntagmorgen erhielten wir den Anruf einer Frau aus einem Komplex in Playa del Ingles. Sie sagte uns, dass seit gestern ein Hund der Rasse Presa Canaria im Garten ist. Sie hatten die Polizei angerufen…… aber die Polizei von San Bartelomé de Tirajana antwortete nur: „Wir haben keinen Hundefänger, das Tierheim der Gemeinde ist geschlossen und die Gemeindeverwaltung ist am Wochenende nicht besetzt“…. aber sie gaben die Telefonnummer des Tierschutzvereins Gran Canaria Pets weiter!!!! Egal ob es Tag oder Nacht ist, oder Wochenende!!

Claro, fuimos al complejo y comprobamos que es una perra de la raza Dobermann. Una raza que en toda España está considerada como potencialmente peligrosa.
Of course, we went to the complex and we found out that it`s a female Doberman. This is a breed in Spain considered as potentially dangerous.  
Natürlich fuhren wir zu dem Komplex und fanden heraus, dass es sich um eine Dobermann-Hündin handelt. Diese Rasse ist in Spanien als potenziell gefährlicher Hund eingestuft.

Se notaba que tenia varias heridas antiguas, que estaba llena de garapatas . Casi no tenia fuerza, se la veia muy cansada, y se notaba que tenia un dolor fuerte en la pata.   Menos mal que este perra PPP era tremendamente cariñosa, sabia que no tenimos intenciones de hacerle daño.....solo para ayudarla.
We could see that she was having several old wounds and she was full of ticks. She almost had no force, very tired and it showed that she had severe pain in her leg. Thank god that this Potentially Dangerous Dog was extremely loving, she knew we had no intention to hurt her...... that we only wanted to help her. 
Wir konnten erkennen, dass sie etliche ältere Wunden hat und voller Zecken war. Sie hatte keine Kraft mehr, war müde und man konnte erkennen, dass sie starke Schmerzen am Bein hat. Glücklicherweise war dieser potenziell gefährliche Hund extrem zutraulich, sie wusste, dass wir keine Absicht haben ihr weh zu tun….. dass wir ihr nur helfen möchten.

 Se dejo coger con la correa, y cuando miramos si tenia microchip.... Bingo.....!
She let us take her with a leash and when we looked to see if she had a microchip..... Bingo!!!
Wir konnte sie an die Leine nehmen und wir sahen nach, ob sie einen Mikrochip hat….. Bingo!!!

 Gracias a las dos mujeres que  se preocuparon para esta perra, nos dejaron agua y algo de comida y pudimos llevarla en el coche a la clinica BENARTEMI en Vecindario que tienen 24 horas de urgencias.
Thanks to these two women who cared for this dog, they gave us some water and food and we could take her into the care to the BENARTEMI clinic in Vecindario, who are having 24 hours emergency. 
Danke an diese beiden Frauen, die sich um den Hund kümmerten, uns Wasser und Futter für sie gaben. So konnten wir sie in die Obhut der Klinik BENARTEMI in Vecindario geben, die einen 24 Stunden Notdienst haben.

Vino al coche sin problemas, aunque no podia caminar mucho ,  y pudimos hacer la foto de la pata.
She went into the car without any problems, although she could not walk much, and we were able to make a picture of her paw. 
Sie stieg problemlos in das Auto, auch wenn sie kaum laufen konnte und wir fotografierten ihre Pfote.

Ya cansada de estar tanto tiempo en la calle... y sobreviviendo se quedo hasta dormida.
Already tired of spending so much time on the street ... and surviving, she fell asleep.
Völlig erschöpft von der Zeit auf der Straße…. und überleben, fiel sie in Schlaf.

En la clinica y por el nr. de chip se localizo al dueño. Un familiar contestó y contó que la perra llevaba mas de 3 semanas perdida...... que el dueño es policia en Telde.
In the clinic we localized her owner trough the number of the microchip. A family member answered and told us that the dog was already missing for over 3 weeks....... her owner is a policeman in Telde.
In der Klinik konnte anhand der Nummer des Mikrochips der Besitzer ermittelt werden. Ein Familienmitglied sagte uns, dass der Hund bereits seit über 3 Wochen vermisst wird…. und das Herrchen ein Polizist aus Telde ist.

Pero segun el base de datos ZOOCAN, la perra NO estaba denunciada como perdida!!
Ademas NO esta registrado como perra PPP!
But according to the database ZOOCAN, the dog was NOT reported as lost!
She is NOT even registered as Potentially Dangerous Dog!
Aber der Datenbank von ZOOCAN war NICHT gemeldet worden, dass der Hund vermisst wird!
Sie ist NICHT einmal als potenziell gefährlicher Hund registriert!

Entonces... para que tenemos  leyes si la propio policia no las cumplen???
So...... why do we have those laws if the proper police is not comply????
Also…. wofür gibt es Gesetze wenn sie nicht mal von der Polizei befolgt werden???

 Como siempre fuimos muy bien atentidos en la clinica BENARTEMI, donde hicieron las primeras curas a la perra KIRA, inyecciones para calmar el dolor, anti inflamatorios, vitaminas y antibioticos.
As always we were very well attended at the BENARTEMI clinic, where they made the first cures on the dog called KIRA, injections to calm the pain, anti inflammatory, vitamins and antibiotics. 
Wie immer wurde unser Sorgenkind von der Klinik BENARTEMI gut versorgt. Die Hündin heißt KIRA und bekam Spritzen gegen die Schmerzen, entzündungshemmende Mittel, Vitamine und Antibiotika.

KIRA esta ahora ingresada  en la clinica, necesita curas por lo menos 2 veces al dia...y estamos esperando que su dueño se ponga en contacto con nosotros y con la clinica......
Esperemos  dar mejores noticias mas adelante.
KIRA is now admitted to the clinic, she needs to be cured for at least 2 times a day ... and we are waiting for the owner to contact us and clinic ......
Hopefully we can give better news later.
KIRA wurde in der Klinik aufgenommen, sie muss mindestens zweimal täglich behandelt werden… und wir warten darauf, dass ihr Besitzer uns und die Klinik kontaktiert…..
Hoffentlich können wir bald gute Neuigkeiten melden.

como hemos quedado, aqui los primeros fotos de Ron con nosotros en su nueva casa. El va muy bien con la correa, pero tambien es muy atento y guardian.
Se lleva muy bien con otros perros y ya hizo amistad con algunos.
Tambien la convivencia con los gatos va muy bien sin ningun problema.
Estamos muy agradecidos por poder tenerlo y estamos muy felices con el nuevo miembro de la familia.
Tambien Ron esta muy contento con su nueva casa!

like we agreed, here the first pictures of Ron living with us in his new home. He walks very well on the leas, but he is also very attentive and guardian. 
He goes along very well with the other dogs and he already made friends with some of them. Also living with the cats goes very good and without problems. We are very grateful to have him and very happy with our new member of the family. Also Ron is very happy with his new home!

wie versprochen schicken wir die ersten Fotos von Ron in seinem neuen Zuhause. Er läuft sehr brav an der Leine und ist sehr aufmerksam und wachsam.
Er versteht sich gut mit den anderen Hunden und hat sich mit einigen angefreundet. Auch mit den Katzen versteht er sich bestens. Wir sind sehr dankbar dass wir ihn haben und sind mit unserem neuen Familienmitglied sehr glücklich. Auch Ron ist mit seinem neuen Zuhause sehr glücklich!Fam.Jacky.

 ! Que maravilla ver a RON así ! Cuando estaba tirado sin el minimo cuidado en una finca de Gran Canaria no podia ni imagnarse que esta vida existia !
How great to see RON like this! When he was living on a farm with minimum cares on Gran Canaria he could not image that a life like this exists!! 
Wie schön, RON so zu sehen! Als er noch auf einer Finca auf Gran Canaria mit einem Minimum an Pflege lebte, konnte er sich bestimmt nicht vorstellen, dass es solch ein Leben gibt!!
