GRAN CANARIA PETS va a participar en el evento

Carrizal Fashion Dogs

Será el próximo domingo 21 de Abril, en el parque de Los Aromeros en Carrizal (frente al Pepe Chiringo) desde las 10 de la  mañana, y estará presentado por el humorista Juan Antonio Cabrera.

Habrá exhibición de frisby, charlas sobre la salud de los animales, y belleza y cuidados.  También certamen de moda  canina y concurso del perro mas y menos pesado.

Nosotros estaremos en un stand y nos gustaría que nos visitasen  los amigos, adoptantes y colaboradores de Gran Canaria Pets.

Agradeceriamos mucho a las personas que han adoptado un perro en Gran Canaria Pets que vengan a visitarnos con sus mascotas, así podremos verlos y hacerles fotos.

Am Sonntag, den 21.April ab 10:00 Uhr im Parque de Los Aromeros in Carrizal (gegenüber Pepe Chiringo). Es moderiert der Humorist  Juan Antonio Cabrera.

Es gibt eine Frisby Schau, Vorträge über Tiergesundheit, Schönheit und Pflege. Auch eine Modenschau für Tiermode und ein Wettbewerb für alle Hunde, von klein bis groß.

Wir werden mit einem eigenen Stand vertreten sein und freuen uns über den Besuch unserer Freunde, „Adoptiveltern“ und Partner. 

Ganz besonders würden wir uns freuen, wenn diejenigen, die einen Hund von Gran Canaria Pets adoptierten, mit ihren Schützlingen kommen und wir sie wiedersehen und fotografieren können.

It will be on Sunday April 21st, (10,00 h.) at the park in Los Aromeros Carrizal (against Pepe Chiringo) in the morning, and will be hosted by comedian Juan Antonio Cabrera.
There will be exhibit of Frisby, talks about animal health and beauty care. Also there will be a fashion-show and a dog-competition.

We will be in a booth and we would like that our friends, adopters and partners of Gran Canaria Pets will visit us.

We would appreciate it a lot that those who have adopted a dog of Gran Canaria Pets come visit us with their pets, so we can see them and take pictures.

PRESENTAMOS A - WE PRESENT TO YOU - WIR STELLEN VOR:SHAMPI

 SHAMPI es un cachorrito de unas 10 semanas de edad. Unos "sin techo" lo intentaron vender en Maspalomas. Parece ser hermano de WOODY!
SHAPMI is a puppy from about 10 weeks old. Some "homeless people" tried to sell him in Maspalomas. It seems that he is a brother of WOODY!
SHAMPI ist ein ca. 10 Wochen alter Welpe. Obdachlose versuchten ihn in Maspalomas zu verkaufen. Es sieht so aus, als wenn er ein Bruder von WOODY ist.

Tiene buen aspecto, es muy alegre y está bastante sano ( si no contamos la cantidad de pulgas que tenía!)
He`s got a good aspect, is very happy and is very healthy (besides the amount of fleas he had!)
Er ist in einem guten Zustand, sehr fröhlich und kerngesund (abgesehen von den vielen Flöhen die er hatte).

Dentro de poco SHAMPI está listo para ser adoptado!
Soon SHAMPI will be ready to be adopted!
Bald wird SHAMPI zum adoptieren vorbereitet sein!

 Se lo  pasó muy bien en el campo  y después nada mejor que un descanso!
He is having a great time out playing in the field and after that there is nothing better than a good nap!
Nach ausgiebigem Toben auf dem Land gibt es nichts Schöneres als eine ordentliche Ruhepause!

DRAGO NOS LLEVAMOS UN BUEN SUSTO - WE BECAME A BIG SHOCK - WIR BEKAMEN EINEN GEWALTIGEN SCHOCK

Virginie que es guia turística nos llamó muy asustada, estaba en la guagua con turistas y vio un perrito solo en la mediana de la autopista. 
Virginie who is a tourist guide called us very startled, she was in the bus with tourists and she saw a little dog alone in the middle of the highway.
Virginie, die als Reiseleiterin arbeitet,  rief uns ganz aufgeregt an. Sie war mit Touristen in einem Bus unterwegs und hatte einen kleinen Hund mitten auf der Autobahn gesehen.

Enseguida nuestro compañero José Antonio se presentó en el lugar, y efectivamente, ahí estaba, en la mediana de la autopista un perrito pequeño muy, muy asustado.
Immediately our colleague José Antonio went to the place, and exactly, there he was, in the middle of the highway a little dog very, very scared.
Unser Kollege José Antonio fuhr sofort hin. Und genau dort war er noch immer, ein kleiner Hund in der Mitte der Autobahn, völlig verängstigt. 

Mientras estaba aparcando en el arcén y llamando a 112 el perro cruzó y  fue atropellado por una señora, que paró enseguida.

Entre los dos lo llevaron a la clínica mas cercana.

Meanwhile he was parking the car and calling 112, the dog crossed the road and got hit by a car of a woman, who stopped immediately. The two of them took him to the nearest veterinarian.
Während unsere Kollege auf dem Seitenstreifen parkte und den Notruf 112 anrief, lief der Hund über die Fahrbahnen und wurde dabei von einer Frau angefahren, die sofort anhielt. Die Beiden brachten den Kleinen sofort zum Tierarzt.

Ya en la clínica lo estabilizaron, sedaron, hicieron radiografías, y se vio que era un perrito mayor y  tenia 3 fracturas.

Once at the clinic they stabilized him, sedated him, made x-rays, and they saw he was an older dog and had 3 fractures.
In der Klinik angekommen, wurde er beruhigt und stabilisiert. Die Röntgenaufnahmen zeigten, dass er bereits älter ist und drei Brüche hat.  

 Tenía microchip, pero la dirección era de Burgos..........
He had a microchip, but the address was in Burgos........
Er hat einen Mikrochip, aber die Adresse war in Burgos (Nordspanien)…….

La señora que lo atropelló, Mª José,  se hizo cargo de todos los gastos y no lo abandonó, lo que le agradecemos mucho.
The woman who hit him, Mª José, took charge of all the costs and did not ditch him, which we are very thankful for. 
Mª José, die ihn angefahren hatte, übernahm alle Kosten und ließ ihn nicht im Stich, wofür wir sehr dankbar sind.

 Posteriormente nos hicimos cargo de él y lo trasladamos a una de las clínicas veterinarias colaboradoras de Gran Canaria Pets.

Later we took charge of him and we moved him to one collaborating veterinarian clinic of Gran Canaria Pets.

Anschließend nahmen wir ihn in unsere Obhut und brachten ihn in eine Tierklinik, die mit Gran Canaria Pets zusammenarbeitet. 

            
  
La casualidad es que este perrito era paciente precisamente de esta clínica y su dueño llamó por teléfono desde otra isla pues lo estaba buscando como loco, porque el se encontraba de viaje, lo dejó al cuidado de una vecina, y el perrito se había escapado !!!!!

Enseguida la vecina fué a recogerlo y en unos días va a ser operado de sus fracturas.   Y también va a cambiar la dirección del microchip a Gran Canaria !!!!

Se llama Drago y tiene 10 años !!!!

Ha sido un gran susto para todos, pero felizmente Drago ha salvado la vida y además su dueño lo ha encontrado !  
The coincidence is that this dog is a patient of this clinic and his owner called by telephone from another island because he was looking like grazy for him, because while he was travelling, he left the dog with a neighbour and the dog escaped!!!!
Immediately the neighbour went to pick him up and in a few days he will be operated. And also the address of the micro will be changed to Gran Canaria!!!!
He is called Drago and is 10 years old!!!!
It was a big shock for all, but happily Drago was saved and besides that his owner found him back!
Der unglaubliche Zufall ist, dass dieser Hund Patient dieser Klinik ist und sein Besitzer bereits von einer anderen Insel angerufen hatte, weil man ihn wie verrückt suchte! Während der Reise wurde der Hund einem Nachbarn übergeben und der Hund lief weg!!!!!!!!
Der Nachbar kam sofort vorbei und holte den Hund ab, der in einigen Tagen operiert wird.
Bei der Gelegenheit wird auch gleich die Adresse des Chips auf Gran Canaria geändert!!!!
Er heißt Drago und ist 10 Jahre alt!!!!
Es war ein großer Schock für alle, aber glücklicherweise ist Drago wieder in Sicherheit und sein Herrchen hat ihn zurück!

SULTAN es un perro de 8 años.  Es un mestizo, mezcla de labrador.

Su familia tiene un bebé y ya no puede atenderlo. 

SULTAN is a 8 years old boy. He is a Labrador mix.

His family is having a baby and they can not serve him any more. 

SULTAN ist ein 8 Jahre alter Bursche – ein Labradormischling.
Seine Familie hat ein Baby bekommen und kann sich nicht mehr um ihn kümmern.

 Cuando conoce a las personas es muy  cariñoso y juguetón.

When he knows the people he is very sweet and playful. 

Wenn er Leute erst einmal kennt, ist er sehr anhänglich und verspielt

Buscan para él una nueva familia. They are looking for a new family for him. Sie suchen eine neue Familie für ihn.

MAUSI ( BRUMA): EN ALEMANIA - IN GERMANY - IN DEUTSCHLAND

 MAUSI (BRUMA) ya está en Alemania con Dietmar y Gerlinde.
Después de  quedarse un par de meses mas en Gran Canaria , ahora le toca probar la nieve en su nueva casa!
MAUSI (BRUMA) in now in Germany with Diermar and Gerlind. After staying a few months more on Gran Canaria, she now went to try the snow and her new home!
MAUSI (BRUMA) IST JETZT IN Deutschland bei Gerlinde und Dietmar. Nachdem sie einige Monate länger auf Gran Canaria bleiben musste, testet sie jetzt den Schnee bei ihrem neuen Zuhause!

 Como pueden ver, está adaptada a su nueva casa y se encuentra muy bien!
Y nos cuentan que también es una pequeña ladrona!!! Lo que mas le gusta son las pantuflas de su ama!!!!
As you can see she adapted well in his new home and she is feeling good!
They are also telling us that she is little thief!!! The most she loves to steel are the slippers of her mammy!!!
Wie man sehen kann, hat sie sich gut eingelebt und sie fühlt sich wohl!
Sie verrieten uns, dass sie die kleine Chefin ist!!! Sie liebt die Hausschuhe ihrer Mama!!!

NUEVA ENTRADA DE - NEW ENTRANCE - NEUZUGANG: STARLIGHT Y ALISSA

 STARLIGHT y ALISSA son dos perritas (hermanas) preciosas y muy cariñosas. Su familia nos pidio ayuda para buscarles una nueva casa.
Por el trabajo están muchísimas horas solas y así no pueden tener la atención que merecen.
STARLIGHT & ALISSA are two beautiful and sweet sisters. Their family are asking us to help them to find a new home. 
Because of work they are many hours alone and for that they do not get the attention they deserve.  
STARLIGHT & ALISSA sind zwei süße hübsche Schwestern. Ihre Familie bat uns um Hilfe bei der Suche nach einem neuen Zuhause. Aus beruflichen Gründen sind die Beiden viele Stunden sich selbst überlassen und bekommen daher nicht die Fürsorge, die sie eigentlich verdienen.

STARLICHT tiene un año y pesa casi 14 kilos.
STARLIGHT is one year and weights almost 14 kilos.
STARLIGHT ist ein Jahr alt und wiegt ca. 14 kg.

ALISSA también tiene 1 año, y aunque es un poco mas alta, también pesa casi 14 kilos.
ALISSA is also 1 year, and although she is a little bit higher, she also weights 14 kilos. 
ALISSA ist ebenfalls ein Jahr alt, und auch wenn sie etwas grösser ist, wiegt sie ebenfalls 14 kg.

Cansadas de la visita al veterinario para hacerles el test de Filaria y menos mal....resultó  negativo!
Tired of the visit to the veterinarian to do the heart-worm test...... and thank god..... with negative results!
Müde vom Besuch beim Tierarzt, der sie auf Filaria (Herzwurm) untersuchte….. und Gott sei Dank…. mit negativem Ergebnis!!

GOLFO: NUEVA ENTRADA EN GRAN CANARIA PETS - NEW ENTRANCE - NEUZUGANG

Unas personas lo llevaban viendo mas de 15 días abandonado por la zona.
Some people saw him over 15 days abandoned in the area. 
Einige Leute sahen ihn mehr als 15 Tage verlassen in der Gegend.

 Finalmente lo recogieron y ahora están en una casa de acogida de Gran Canaria Pets.
At the end they took him and now he is in a foster home of Gran Canaria Pets. 
Schließlich nahmen sie ihn mit und jetzt ist er in einer Pflegestelle von Gran Canaria Pets.

 GOLFO es un perro joven, de tamaño mediano, muy bueno, tranquilo y obediente.
GOLFO is a young dog, mid-size, very good, tranquil and obedient. 
GOLFO ist noch jung, mittelgroß, sehr lieb, ruhig und gehorsam.

 Ya lo estamos preparando para que pueda ser adoptado.
We are now preparing him so he can be adopted. 
Wir bereiten ihn jetzt vor, damit er adoptiert werden kann.

PERRO PERDIDO - DOG LOST - VERMISSTER HUND

Este perro se ha perdido en la zona de Galdar.  Llevaba un pullover naranja y collar.
Tiene 13 años, ya no oye bien, ni ve bien.
Se agradece cualquier información.
This dog got lost in the area of Galdar. He was wearing an orange jersey and collar. 
He is 13 years old, does not hear and see good any more and he is on medication.
Any information is welcome.
Dieser Hund ging in der Gemeinde Galdar verloren. Er trägt ein orangefarbenes Mäntelchen und Halsband.
Er ist 13 Jahre alt, hört und sieht nicht gut.
Für Hinweise wären wir sehr dankbar.

WOODY: NUEVO ENTRADA - NEW ENTRANCE - NEUZUGANG

WOODY es un cachorrito de unas 6 semanas.
Unos "sin techo" lo intentaron  vender en la Playa del Inglés para comprarse su adicción, el alcohol!
WOODY is a puppy from about 6 weeks old. Some "homeless people" tried to sell him on the beach of Playa del Inglés to finance their addiction, alcohol!    
WOODY ist ein etwa 6 Wochen alter Welpe.
Obdachlose versuchten ihn am Strand von Playa del Inglès zu verkaufen, um ihre Sucht zu finanzieren – den Alkohol.

 Menos mal que unos turistas pudieron quitárselo . Ahora está en acogida , libre de las pulgas y desparasitado.
Thank god some tourists could take him away. He is now in fostering, free of fleas and he got de-wormed. 
Glücklicherweise konnten ihn Touristen wegnehmen. Jetzt ist er in Pflege, entwurmt und von Flöhen befreit.

Después de un tiempo de jugar, comer...es hora de dormir!
After some playing, food..... it´s time to take a nap!
Nach ausgiebigem spielen, futtern… war es Zeit zum schlafen!

Ya cansado de la cámara y su luces...... WOODY dio la espalda... y a dormir mas!!
Tired of the camera and the lights....... WOODY gave his back..... and some more sleeping!!

Dos de nuestros perros pudieron viajar esta semana a Alemania.
Two of our dogs were able to travel this week to Germany. 
Zwei unserer Hunde konnten diese Woche nach Deutschland reisen.

BONNY es la última de los 4 cachorros que crecieron salvajes en El Salobre.  Pudieron sobrevivir gracias a que Virginie los estuvo alimentando día tras día durante meses, hasta que logró su confianza y pudo cogerlos.
BONNY the last one of the 4 puppies who grew up in the wild in El Salobre. They could survive thanks to Virginie who went to feed them day after day during months, until she achieved their trust and was able to take them. 
BONNY ist die letzte der 4 Welpen, die wild in El Salobre aufwuchsen. Sie überlebten dank Virginie, die sie mehrere Monate Tag für Tag fütterte und dadurch ihr Vertrauen gewann und man sie einfangen konnte.

Bonny cuando estaba en la montaña. - Bonny when she was still living in the mountains - Bonny als sie noch in den Bergen lebte.

 Y KINKI, este simpático teckel, cuya dueña no podía seguir atendiendo.
And KINKI, this sympathetic dachshund, his owner could no longer take care of him.

Gracias a los "padrinos de vuelo" Christine y Martin, era la primera vez para ellos, pero repiten seguro!
Thanks to the "flight attendants" Christine and Martin, this was the first time for them, but for sure they will repeated!
Herzlichen Dank an die Flugpaten Christin und Martin, für die es das erste Mal ist, die sich aber sicher wieder zur Verfügung stellen.

Llegaron bien, y pronto los dos estarán viviendo con sus nuevas familias.
They arrived well, and soon they will be living with their new family`s. 
Sie sind wohlbehalten angekommen und die Beiden werden bald bei ihren neuen Familien leben.
