Es un perrito ratonero, de tamaño mediano, joven, apenas un año.
He is a small mix breed dog, still young, not even one years old.
Er ist ein kleiner Mischlingshund, noch jung, noch nicht einmal ein Jahr alt.

Lo encontraron rondando una casa con mucha hambre.
They found him hanging around a house with a lot of hunger. 
Sie fanden ihn um ein Haus hängen mit viel Hunger.

Después de unos días consiguieron cogerlo, pues tiene bastante miedo.
After a few days they could take him, because he had a lot of fear. 
Nach ein paar Tagen konnte sie ihn nehmen, weil er viel Angst hatte.

 Ya ha pasado por el veterinario y no tenia chip.  Ahora ya está en Gran Canaria Pets, una casa de acogida y se ha comprobado que es un perrito muy bueno y se lleva muy bien con los otros perros de la casa.
He already went to the veterinarian and he has no microchip. He is now in a foster home of GCP and they see that he is a very good dog, he goes along very well with the other dogs in the house. 
Er ging bereits zum Tierarzt und er hat keine Mikrochip. Er ist jetzt in einer Pflegestelle von GCP und sie sehen, dass er ein sehr guter Hund ist, er geht sehr gut mit den anderen Hunden im Haus.

Ya tiene sus primeras vacunas y pronto será castrado. Le hemos puesto de nombre WOK.
He already received his first vaccines and soon he will be castrated. We named him WOK.
Er hat bereits seine ersten Impfungen erhalten und bald wird er kastriert. Wir nannten ihn WOK.

WOK ya nunca va a pasar hambre !
WOK you will never be hungry again!
WOK du wirst nie wieder hungrig sein!

WALKI Y TALKI: YA HAN PASADO SU TRATAMIENTO DE FILARIA - PASSED THEIR HEART-WORM TREATMENT - HABEN BEREITS IHRE HERZWORM BEHANDLUNG

WALKI Y TALKI vivían abandonados en la montaña.
WALKI & TALKI were living abandoned in the mountains. 
WALKI & Talki lebten aufgegeben in den Bergen.

Durante meses les pusimos comida y agua.
During months we gave them food and water. 
Während der Monate gaben wir ihnen Essen und Wasser.

Y hace poco mas de un mes los pudimos recoger.

And about one month ago we could take them. 

Und vor etwa einem Monat konnten wir sie zu nehmen.

Pero en su visita al veterinario comprobamos que los dos tenían filaria  !!!!
But on their visit to the veterinarian we found out that both were heart-worm positive!!!
Aber auf ihren Besuch zum Tierarzt fanden wir heraus, dass beide Herzwurm positiv war!



Durante este tiempo les hemos estado preparando y medicando para su tratamiento.
During a time we have prepared and medicated them for their treatment. 
In einer Zeit, wurden sie vorbereitet und bekamen sie medizine für Ihre Behandlung.

Ya llegó el momento y ya se le ha puesto.   Es un tratamiento duro, pues es muy doloroso para ellos, peligroso, y también muy caro.
Now the moment was there and they received their treatment. This is a harsh treatment, because it`s very painful and dangerous for them, and also very expensive.
Jetzt war der Moment da, und sie bekamen ihre Behandlung. Dies ist eine harte Behandlung, weil es ist sehr schmerzhaft und gefährlich für sie, und auch sehr teuer.

Pero si no se tratan, la muerte es segura.
But if you do not treat them, they will die for sure. 
Aber wenn Sie nicht behandelt wurden, werden sie sicher sterben.

Ellos son tan buenos, que se portaron de maravilla !!!!!
They are so good, they were wonderful!!
Sie sind so gut, sie waren wunderbar!!!

Después de unos días en la clínica volverán a su vida normal, y a recuperarse del todo.
After a few days in the clinic they returned to their normal lives, and recover from all.
Nach ein paar Tagen in der Klinik kehrten sie in ihr normales Leben, und von allem zu erholen.

LE QUEDAN 9 DIAS DE VIDA / HE STILL HAS 9 MORE DAYS ALIVE

Solo tiene 7 meses, es muy bueno, alegre, precioso y ya ha empezado su cuenta atras para matarlo.
He still is  only a baby, about 7 month only and will look to the  death already!

Una persona lo encontró con mucha hambre y sed, sin chip, lo llevó a su casa, un piso, pero es imposible la convivencia con sus otros perros y los vecinos.
Someone found him on the street and he was very hungry. Without a microchip and she took him home. But there are more animals in the house and did not go on very well togehter. Also the neighbours start to complain.

Hoy, con todo el dolor de su alma lo ha llevado a la perrera de Bañaderos.   Ha preguntado cuanto tiempo lo iban a mantener y le han dicho que si quiere recuperarlo llame antes de 9 dias.
Today, with pain in her  hart she brought him to the dogpound Bañaderos in Las Palmas. She asked them who much time wass left for him.... and as from now....only 9 days!

Esta persona hace un llamamiento desesperado para que alguien lo pueda ayudar.
This person is asking desperately if there is someone who can help him.

Veronica nos escribe porque tiene que mudarse de casa  antes de final de Noviembre y no puede llevarse a su perra LAICA
Veronica wrote us because she needs to move house before the end of November and she can not take her dog LAICA. 
Veronica schrieb uns, weil sie von Haus wechselten muss vor Ende November und sie ihren Hündin LAICA nicht nehmen kann.

 Es una perra muy noble acostumbrada a los niños ya que se crió con tres y con  otra perrita que es yorkshire,  duermen juntas y todo el día se hacen compañía!!
Laica es muy cariñosa,  no sabe pelear,  solo le ladra a los gatos, es una perra guardiana y muy ,muy dócil por que está así criada!!
She is a very noble dog, used to children, she grew up with 3, and with the other dog, a yorkshire terrier, they sleep together and play all day!!
Laica is a very sweet dog, she does not know what fighting is, she only barks to cats, she is a guardian dog and very, very docil because she was raised like this. 
Sie ist eine sehr edle Hund, an Kinder gewöhnt, sie wuchs mit 3, und mit dem anderen Hund, ein Yorkshire-Terrier, sie schlafen zusammen und spielen den ganzen Tag!
Laica ist ein sehr süßer Hund, sie weiß nicht, was Bekämpfung ist, bellt sie nur auf Katzen, sie ist ein Schutzhund und sehr, sehr gelehrig weil sie wie diese erhöht ist.

RANIA, FINAL FELIZ ! - HAPPY END!

 Así de guapa y feliz está ahora RANIA!
Su familia nos mandan fotos de como está ahora. RANIA fue encontrada llena de garrapatas, como pueden ver en la foto de su oreja! Nuestra voluntaria la recogió en su casa y tardó mas de 3 horas en limpiarla!
En Alemania tiene ahora mas amiguitos, el gato y el Pastor Alemán.
Su familia nos manda también la foto cuando la vieron por primera vez y después de su castración !
Gracias Fam. S. por quererla y cuidarla !
Happy and pretty like this is RANIA now! Her family did send us pictures. RANIA was found full of ticks, as you can see on the picture! Our volunteer took her into her home and it took her 3 hours to clean her! In Germany she has more friends now, the cat and the German Shephard. Her family did send us also pictures from when they saw her the first time and after her castration! Thanks family S. for loving and caring her!
Glücklich und schön wie das ist RANIA jetzt! Ihre Familie hat uns Bilder geschickt. RANIA wurde gefunden voller Zecken, wie Sie auf dem Bild sehen kann! Unsere Freiwilligen nahm sie in ihr Haus und es dauerte 3 Stunden, um sie zu reinigen! In Deutschland hat sie jetzt mehreren Freunden, die Katze und den Deutschen Schäferhund. Ihre Familie hat uns auch Bilder geschickt von ihr, wenn Sie sie das erste Mal sah, und nach ihrer Kastration! Vielen Dank Familie S.um sie zu lieben und pflegen!

SALIDA DE - DEPARTURE OF - ABFLUG VON: MAGGY Y CHICA

 MAGGY Y CHICA tambien tuvieron su dia de salida hoy!  Las dos estan reservadas en Alemania y estamos muy felices por ellas!
Gracias a Claudia y Reiner , los padrinos de vuelo, pudieron viajar. Claudia y Reiner son padrinos por primera vez y gracias a una amiga nos avisaron. Estamos seguros que repitan la proxima vacaciones de nuevo!
MAGGY and CHICA were also lucky to leave today! Both are requested in Germany and we are very happy for them! 
Thanks to Claudia and Reiner, the flight attendants, they were able to fly. Claudia and Reiner were flight attendants for the first time, and thanks to a friend they warned us. We are sure they will repeat this on their next holiday!
MAGGY CHICA und hatten auch Glück heute zu fliegen! Beide sind in Deutschland beantragt und wir sind sehr glücklich für sie!
Dank an Claudia und Reiner, die Flugbegleiter, konnte sie fliegen. Claudia und Reiner waren Flugbegleiter zum ersten Mal, und Dank an einen Freund haben sie uns gewarnt. Wir sind sicher, dass sie das auf ihren nächsten Urlaub wiederholen!

CHICA estaba en la perrera de Bañaderos y faltaba poco por ser sacrificada. Gracias a dos chicas que la tuvieron en acogida pudo salir y ahora le espera un futuro con mucho cariño y vida!
CHICA was in the dog-pound Bañaderos and she was about to be euthanized. Thanks to two girls who took her in fostering she was rescued and she can go now to a better future with a lot of love. 
CHICA war in den Tierheim Bañaderos und sie war im Gefahr um eingeschläfert zu werden. Dank zwei Mädchen, die ihr bei in Förderung nahmen, wurde sie gerettet, und kann sie jetzt zu einer besseren Zukunft mit viel Liebe gehen. 

 Nuestra abuelita MAGGY, utilizada  como fabrica de cachorros durante 10 años, y   despues metida solita en una azotea sin cariño ni compania, y atada con una corta cadena.
Cuando llego a Gran Canaria Pets, pesaba 11 kilos, sin poder caminar, sucia y apestando!
Perdió la vision de un ojo ( por falta de cuidados !!) y le quedaron solo 3 dientes despues de una limpieza de boca por parte de Gran Canaria Pets.
Gracias a los buenos cuidados de Montse y Chelo , bajó de peso ( ahora pesa 7 kilos !) camina, juega y fué la alegria de la casa de acogida!
Our granny MAGGY, utilized for a puppy farm for 10 years, and after that living alone on a roof-terrace, without any love or company and attached on a short chain. When she came with GCP, she weighted 11 kilos, could not walk, and she was very dirty and smelly! 
She lost vision on one eye (because of lack of care) and after a dental cleaning, she has only 3 teeth left. 
Thanks of the good care of Montse and Chelo, she lost 4 kilos, she can walk and play again, and she was the sunshine in the foster home!
Unsere Omi MAGGY, 10 Jahre für Zucht Welpen benutzt, und danach allein lebend auf einem Dach-Terrasse, ohne Liebe oder Gesellschaft und an einer kurzen Kette befestigt.
Als sie bei GCP kam, gewichtet sie 11 Kilo, konnte nicht mehr laufen, und sie war sehr schmutzig und stinkend! Sie verlor Sicht auf einem Auge (wegen mangelnder Pflege) und nach einer Zahnreinigung, hat sie nur noch 3 Zähne. Dank der guten Pflege von Montse und Chelo, verlor sie vier Kilo, kann sie wieder laufen und spielen, und sie ist die Sonne in der Pflegefamilie!

Con su 12 años bien llevados esta viviendo ahora  una segunda juventud!!
Now with a good 12 years old she is living a second youth!!
Jetzt mit einem gut 12 Jahre alt lebt sie eine zweite Jugend!

Suerte a los dos, y gracias a todos que participaron para que tambien ellas tengan una vida digna!

 ADAY y DUMBO salieron hoy en el primer vuelo a Alemania!
Después de estar un tiempo en acogida era su hora para encontrar una familia!!
ADAY and DUMBO left today on the first flight to Germany! After being for a while in fostering, it was time for them to find their own family!
ADAY und DUMBO verlassen heute auf dem ersten Flug nach Deutschland! Nachdem die beide fur eine Weile in Pflege waren, war es Zeit für sie, ihre eigene Familie zu finden!

En el aeropuerto nos esperaban los Sres. Martini , los padrinos de vuelo.
On the airport were waiting for us Mr. and Mrs. Martini, the flight attendants. 
Auf dem Flughafen warten auf uns der Herr und Frau Martini, die Flugbegleiter.

En el mismo vuelo también tenían la suerte de volar dos perritos de otra protectora ADA.
On the same flight two dogs of the protecor ADA were lucky to go as well. 
Auf dem gleichen Flug zwei Hunde der Tierschutz ADA hatten das Glück, auch zu gehen.

Dumbo no tenía mucho ganas en volar.... y quiso irse rápido con su mama de acogida!
Dumbo didn`t feel much to fly...... and wanted to go quickly with his foster mammy!
Dumbo hatte nicht so viel das Gefühl, um zu fliegen ...... und wollte schnell mit seiner Pflege Mama gehen!

Para los Sres. Martini fue la primera vez que llevaron perritos en su vuelo, pero estamos seguro que repetirán la próxima vez!! Gracias!!!
It was the first time for Mr. and Mrs. Martini that they were flight attendants, but we are sure that they will be again the next time! Thank you!!

BULLDOG FRANCES ATROPELLADO, SUS DUEÑOS QUERIAN SACRIFICARLO - FRENCH BULLDOG HIT BY A CAR, HIS OWNERS WANTED TO SACRIFICE HIM - Französische Bulldogge von einem Auto getroffen, Seine Besitzer wollte ihn einschläfern

Esta carita dice muchas cosas.  Willian tenía dueño, tenía una familia, pero un día se perdió y se supone que fué atropellado, porque cuando su familia lo encontró tenía una pata rota.
This face tells you a lot of things. Willian had an owner, he had a family, but one day he got lost and they suppose that he got hit by a car, because when his family found him, he had one broken leg. 
Dieses Gesicht sagt Ihnen, eine Menge Dinge. Willian hatte einen Besitzer und eine Familie, aber eines Tages bekam er verloren und sie denken, dass er von einem Auto getroffen war, denn wenn seine Familie ihn fand, hatte er ein gebrochenes Bein.

Lo llevaron al veterinario, pero dijeron que no podían pagar la operación, por lo que optaron por sacrificarlo.
They took him to the veterinarian, but they could not pay the operation, so they chose to sacrifice him.
Sie brachten ihn zum Tierarzt, aber sie konnte die Operation nicht bezahlen, so sie beschlossen, ihn zu einschläfern .

El veterinario nos llamó y nos hemos hecho cargo de Willian.
The veterinarian called us and we took charge of Willian. 
Der Tierarzt rief uns an und wir übernahm Willian.

Willian ya está operado, (y también castrado).  La operación salió muy bien.  Ahora se repone en una casa de acogida de Gran Canaria Pets, y ya ha empezado a caminar.
Willian is now operated (and also castrated). The operation went very well. He is now recovering in a foster home of GCP, and already started to walk. 
Willian ist jetzt operiert (und auch kastriert). Die Operation verlief sehr gut. Er erholt sich jetzt in einer Pflegefamilie von GCP, und ist bereits begonnen zu laufen.

Es un bulldog frances de dos años muy simpático, alegre y cariñoso.  Pronto estará preparado para ser adoptado.
He is a 2 years old French Bulldog, very sympathetic, happy and sweet. Soon he will be ready to be adopted.
Er ist ein 2 Jahre alt Französisch Bulldogge, sehr sympathisch, glücklich und süß. Bald wird er bereit sein, um adoptiert zu werden.

SALIDA DE - DEPARTURE OF - ABFLUG VON: GLADYS Y JOPPIE ( DE LA PERRERA)

 GLADYS una de las cachorritas de Pamela tuvo la suerte de salir a Alemania. Gracias al Sr. Mertens que se ofreció para llevarla en su vuelo.
Pero no solo tuvo suerte GLADYS, también JOPPIE, cachorrito de Podenco Canario la acompañaba.
GLADYS one of the puppies from Pamela was lucky to leave to Germany. Thanks to Mr. Mertens who offered to take her on his flight. 
But GLADYS was not the only one who was lucky, also JOPPIE, a Podenco puppy went together with her. 
Gladys einer der Welpen von Pamela hatte das Glück, nach Deutschland zu gehen. Vielen Dank an Herrn Mertens, der angeboten hatte, sie auf seinen Flug mit zu nehmen.
Aber Gladys war nicht der einzige, der Glück hatte, auch JOPPIE, ein Podenco Welpe ging zusammen mit ihr. 

 JOPPIE  entró en la perrera de Puerto Rico hace mas de un mes, juntos con dos hermanos mas! El encontró una familia en Alemania, gracias a nuestra contacto allí, Anita!
JOPPIE came in the dog-pound Puerto Rico over a month ago, together with two more brothers! He found a family in Germany, thanks to our contact overthere, Anita!
JOPPIE kam in der Tierheim Puerto Rico vor über einem Monat, zusammen mit zwei Gebrüder! Er fand eine Familie in Deutschland, dank unserer Kontakt dort, Anita!



GLADYS todavía tiene otro hermano mas  y JOPPIE todavía tiene dos hermanos mas y los 3  también estan esperando su oportunidad!!
GLADYS has one more brother and JOPPIE two more brothers, who are also waiting for their opportunity!!
Gladys hat noch einen Bruder und JOPPIE  zwei  Brüder, die auch noch auf  ihren Chance warten!

Gracias a la Fam. S. tambien FLICKA ( que se llama ahora LOTTA) encontró su casa y familia!
Nos cuenta que es una perra muy noble, feliz, cariñosa y que se lleva bien con todos! Su mejor amigo es un guapo también de España de unos 7 años! Y al poco tiempo de adoptarla parecía que siempre estuvo con ellos! Es un miembro mas de la familia!
Gracias a todos y también a nuestros contactos en Alemania, los 8 han encontrado una familia que se merecen!!
We received pictures of FLICKA, the last one of the 8 puppies who are now happily living in Germany!

They are telling us that she is a very noble, happy and sweet dog and she goes along well with all! Her best friend is a handsome 7 years old boy, also from Spain! And only after little time adopting her, it already looked like that she always has been with them! She is one more member of the family!
