HEMOS RECIBIDO ESTE EMAIL DESDE MADRID:

Mambo es un perro recogido de la calle, por eso no sabemos con exactitud cuantos años tiene, pero rondará los cinco o seis. Es tierno y cariñoso con las personas y tiene mucha energía jugando, le gusta tener juguetes o palos para morder. Para relacionarse con otros perros tiene que llevar bozal (por el momento). Mambo necesita que se emplee tiempo con él para que mejore su forma de relacionarse con otr@s perr@s. Por eso es importante encontrar un lugar definitivo donde pueda encontrar tranquilidad y cierta rutina. Es un poco vago (un cojín es su cosa favorita) pero le viene muy bien hacer ejercicio. La verdad es que es un perro "de salón", muy tranquilote cuando está en su casa. Ya está esterilizado. Es staffordshire bull terrier. Es urgente encontrar una casa de acogida para él o su adopción definitiva. Estamos en Madrid, pero le llevamos a donde le vayan a cuidar, como si es a Alemania.

Mambo is a dog picked up from the street, for that we do not know his exact age, but probably about 5 to 6 years old. He is very tender and sweet with people and has a lot of energy to play, he loves to have toys and sticks to bite on. To be related with other dogs he needs to wear a muzzle (for the moment). 
Mambo requires time is to improve his way of relating to other dogs. For that it is very important to find him a definitive home where he can find peace and some routine. He is a little bit vague (a pillow is his favourite thing) but it will good to give him exercise. In reality he is a real good dog, very tranquil when he is at home. He is castrated. He is a Stafford Bull Terrier. It is very urgent to find him a foster home or adoption. We are in Madrid, but we take him anywhere they will take care of him, even if this is for example in Germany.

MAMBO ist ein Hund der von der Straße kommt, deswegen wissen wir sein genaues Alter nicht, wir schätzen aber, dass er 5-6 Jahre alt ist. Er ist sehr treu und süß, außerdem ist er gerne mit Menschen. Er hat viel Energie zum Spielen, dabei liebt er verschiedene Spielzeuge und Stöcke, auf denen er beißen kann. Im Umgang mit anderen Hunden trägt er zur Zeit noch einen Maulkorb.  
MAMBO braucht noch Zeit um sich an den Umgang mit anderen Hunden zu gewöhnen und sein Verhalten zu verbessern. Es ist wichtig, dass wir ihm ein neues Zuhause finden wo er in Frieden leben kann und verschiedensten Routinen nach gehen kann, damit es ihm Sicherheit gibt. Er ist ein bisschen merkwürdig, da z.B. sein Kissen sein Lieblingsgegenstand ist aber er kann noch viel lernen. Er ist ein wirklich guter Hund und er verhält sich zuhause sehr ruhig. Er ist kastriert. Seine Rasse ist Stafford Bull Terrier. Wir suchen sehr dringend eine Gastfamilie oder eine Familie, die bereit ist, ihn zu adoptieren. DORNA, TAMBIEN EN MUY MAL ESTADO, ENTRA EN GRAN CANARIA PETS - ALSO IN VERY BAD STATE - AUCH IN SCHLECHTEM ZUSTAND

Nati encontró a DORNA en muy mal estado.   Todo el cuerpo lleno de heridas (mordidas???), cojeando y saliéndole pus por una oreja, pues tenía el oido completamente infectado.  Estaba sufriendo mucho.  No dudó en llevarla a su casa aunque vive en un piso pequeño y ya tiene dos perros mas.   La curó y nos pidió ayuda.  Después de dos semanas  hemos podido acogerla en una casa de Gran Canaria Pets. 
Nati found DORNA in a very bad state. Her whole body full with wounds (bites????), limping and pus coming out of the ear, because the ear was completely infected. She suffered a lot. Nati did not hesitate to take her home although she is living in a small flat and already having 2 more dogs. She cured her and asked us for help. After 2 weeks we were able to take her into a foster home of GCP.
Nati fand DORNA in sehr schlechtem Zustand. Ihr ganzer Körper war mit Wunden übersäht (vielleicht Bisse), sie hinkte und aus ihrem Ohr kamen Flöhe. Zusätzlich war ihr Ohr vollkommen entzündet. Sie litt sehr viel und Nati zögerte nicht sie mit zu sich nach Hause zu nehmen um sie zu pflegen. Leider jedoch lebt sie in einer kleinen Wohnung und hat schon 2 andere Hunde. Sie pflegte sie und bat uns um Hilfe. Nach 2 Wochen konnten wir sie in eine Pflegefamilie von GCP aufnehmen.

 Hemos comprobado que DORNA es una perra adorable, se lleva bien con animales y personas, es muy joven, y todavía tiene el cuerpo entero lleno de cicatrices.  Poco a poco se le iran curando........tambien las del alma.
We have verified that DORNA is an adorable dog, she goes along well with other dogs and people, still very young, and her body is still full of scars. Bit by bit this will be cured....... as well the scars on her soul.
Wir haben uns davon überzeugt, dass DORNA ein liebenswerter Hund ist. Sie versteht sich gut mit anderen Hunden, sowie Menschen. Sie ist jung, doch leider ist ihr Körper voller Narben. Stück für Stück erholt sie sich und kehrt ins Leben zurück, wir hoffen, dass auch die Wunden in ihrer Seele heilen.

3 GATITOS EN BUSCA DE UN HOGAR ! - 3 KITTENS LOOKING FOR A HOME! - 3 KATZEN SUCHEN EIN ZUHAUSE!

 Estas preciosidades fueron dejadas en una caja delante de la puerta de unos de nuestros voluntarios! Son 3 machos de unas 5 semanas solo! Gracias a Gloria, una de nuestras casas de acogida, pueden seguir creciendo ahora tranquilos y calentitos! Los tres estan en adopción!
These 3 handsome boys were left in a box in front of the door of one of our volunteers. They are only about 5 weeks old! Thanks to Gloria, one of our foster homes, they can peacefully and warm grow up! The 3 are up for adoption!

Diese 3 süßen Jungs wurden in einem Karton vor unsere Türe abgestellt. Sie sind nur ca. 5 Wochen alt. Danke an Gloria, die sie aufnahm. Jetzt wachsen sie ruhig und in Frieden auf. Alle 3 sind zur Adoption bereit!

BANJUL, NUEVA ENTRADA EN GRAN CANARIA PETS - NEW ENTRANCE - NEUZUGANG

Apareció solo por una carretera, sin collar, sin chip y lleno de nudos.  Es un perro muy joven, mezcla yorkshire, pesa 6 k. es muy alegre.   Le hemos puesto de nombre BANJUL.
He appeared alone on the street, without a collar, without a microchip and full of knots. He is a very young dog, a Yorkshire mix, weights 6 kilos and he is very cheerful. We named him BANJUL. 
Er lief alleine auf der Straße umher, ohne Halsband, ohne Microchip und voll mit Parasiten. Er ist sehr jung, ein Yorkshire Mix, wiegt 6kg und ist sehr verspielt. Wir haben ihn BANJUL getauft. BANJUL liebt es, mit Kindern zu spielen.

LOLITA, ENTRA EN GRAN CANARIA PETS - NEW ENTRANCE - NEUZUGANG

Cuando entramos en la finca de los 80 perros la primera perra que nos llamó la atención fue esta ratonerilla, se la veía tan desubicada, escapando de los perros y de las personas, parecia decir : "¿pero que hago yo en este sitio?".
Tuvimos  el propósito de retirartla de allí cuanto antes.  Pero hubo un problema. Tenía microchip y no se localiza el dueño para hacer el cambio.   Al fin se solucionó, y despues de un mes hemos podido retirarla y cambia la titularidad del chip.
When we entered the property with the 80 dogs the first dog that called our attention was this little dog, she looked so misplaced, escaping from dogs and people, it looked like she was saying "what am I doing in this place?".
We intended to take her out of there as soon as possible. But there was a problem. She had a microchip and we could not localize the owner to change the ownership. At the end this was solved, and after one month we could take her out and change the ownership of the chip.   

Als wir das Grundstück mit den 80 Hunden betraten, war sie der erste Hund, der unsere Aufmerksamkeit bekam. Sie sah so deplatziert aus, versuchte immer vor anderen Hunden und den Menschen zu fliehen und sie wirkte so, als würde sie sagen "Was mache ich an diesem Platz?".

Wir wollten sie liebend gerne so schnell es geht mit nehmen. Aber es gab ein Problem. Sie hatte einen Mikrochip und wir konnten den Besitzer nicht finden. Später lösten wir das Problem und wir konnten sie nach ca. 1 Monat mitnehmen und ihren Chip umändern.

 

Fue el  cambio mas inmediato que vimos en un animal al ser liberado.   En la finca tenía terror, no se dejaba coger, quería estar sola, hasta se defendía enseñando los dientes............... la metimos en el coche y el cambio fue total, se convirtió en una perra cariñosa, sociable, amable.   Nos fuimos a tomar un café y un sandwich para ella...... y desde entonces es la perra mas feliz del mundo. 

 It was the most immediate change we saw in an animal to be released. At the property she had terror, she did not let her catch her, she wanted to be alone, even showing her teeth defending herself............ once we had her in the car she changed completely, she converted in a lovely, sweet and social dog. We went to take a coffee and a sandwich for her...... and since than she is most happy dog in the world. 

Man konnte eine sofortige Veränderung sehen, da wir sie sozusagen befreit haben. Auf dem Grundstück lebte sie in ewigem Terror, sie ließ sich nicht fangen, wollte alleine sein und fletschte die Zähne um sich selbst zu verteidigen. Als wir sie dann endlich im Auto hatten, veränderte sie sich schnell und wurde zu einem süßen, lieben und sehr sozialen Hund. Wir hielten an, um uns einen Kaffee zu holen und wir gaben ihr ein Sandwich, seitdem war sie der glücklichste Hund der Welt.
 

  

 


LOLITA está en una casa de acogida de Gran Canaria Pets.  Se lleva de maravilla con el perro de la familia.   En el veterinario le detectaron una infección de orina, pero ya está en tratamiento y pronto estará bien.   Es un encanto de perra.  Tiene 2 años y pesa 7 k.
LOLITA is now in one of our foster homes. She goes along very well with the other dog in the family. At the veterinarian they detected an urinary infection, but is now treated for that and soon she will be better. She is a lovely 2 years old dog and weights 7 kilo. 
 LOLITA ist jetzt in einer Gastfamilie. Ihr geht es sehr gut und sie versteht sich sehr gut mit dem anderen Hund der Familie. Beim Tierarzt wurde eine Blasenentzündung festgestellt, die jetzt behandelt wird, sodass es ihr bald besser geht. Sie ist 2 Jahre alt und wiegt 7kg.

LUMI, FINAL FELIZ! - HAPPY END!

 LUMI está así de guapo!! Su Familia nos escribe que aprendió mucho en la escuela! Le encanta  correr en el parque detrás de ramas de madera y es el amor de las dos niñas de la familia! También LUMI se encuentra de vez en cuando con su hermano LOI ( en la ult. foto están los dos) que se llama ahora Pepe.

LUMI looks handsome like this!! His family is writing us that he already learned a lot in the dog-school! He loves to run in the park and he is the love of the 2 girls in the family! Once in a while LUMI meets his brother LOI (you can see them together in the last picture) who is now called Pepe.

LUMI sieht sehr hübsch aus. Seine Familie schrieb uns, dass er schon enorm viel in der Hundeschule gelernt hat. Er liebt es durch den Park zu rennen und er versteht sich super mit den 2 Mädchen der Familie. Bald trifft LUMI seinen Bruder LOI (sie sind zusammen auf dem letzten Bild).
