SALIDA DE - DEPARTURE OF - ABFLUG VON: TWIX & MARS !

 Hoy nos hemos despedido de MARS & TWIX, los últimos dos perritos del señor que falleció en su casa en Guanarteme quedándose varios días en la casa con él hasta que fue encontrado su cuerpo sin vida! Estos dos perritos entraron en Gran Canaria Pets con mucho miedo, sin saber lo que son los paseos con correa, la calle... un collar..nada!
Ahora son dos perritos muy alegres, les encanta pasear por la calle y son muy felices!
Gracias a nuestras Madrinas de vuelo, Anette y Lucia, por llevar a MARS & TWIX en su vuelo, de vuelta a Alemania.
LIDA (la madre de ellos dos), BUQUE (el padre) y ODIN ( hermano) ya están en Alemania y felizmente adoptados!

Today we said goodbye to MARS and TWIX, the last two of the dogs who were several days with the dead man who died in his home in Guanarteme! When these two dogs came to GCP they were very fearful, without knowing what it was to go out for a walk on a leash on the street...... what a collar was..... nothing!
Now they are two very cheerful dogs, they love to go out for a walk and they are very happy!
Thanks to our flight attendants, Anette and Lucia, to take MARS and TWIX on their flight back to Germany. 
LIDA (the mammy of them), BUQUE (the daddy) and ODIN (brother) are already in Germany and happily adopted!

Heute verabschiedeten wir uns von MARS und TWIX, die letzten zwei der Hunde, die über mehrere Tage mit dem toten Mann war, der in seinem Haus in Guanarteme gestorben wäre!
Wenn diese beiden Hunde zu GCP kamen waren sie sehr ängstlich, ohne zu wissen, was es war, für einen Spaziergang an der Leine auf der Straße zu gehen...... was ein Halsband war ..... nichts!
Jetzt sind die beide zwei sehr fröhliche Hunde, sie lieben es, für einen Spaziergang zu gehen, und sie sind sehr glücklich! 
Dank unserer Flugbegleitern, Annette und Lucia, die MARS und TWIX auf ihrer Flucht nach Deutschland zurück nahmen. 
LIDA (die Mutter von ihnen), BUQUE (der Vater) und ODIN (Bruder) sind bereits in Deutschland und glücklich adoptiert!

Wir laden alle unseren Freunde ein, um vorbei zu kommen, um uns zu besuchen. 

PRIMERA CHARLA DE GRAN CANARIA PETS A LOS NIÑOS - FIRST CHAT FROM GRAN CANARIA PETS TO CHILDREN - ERSTE CHAT VON GRAN CANARIA PETS ZU KINDERN

Siempre hemos pensado que la mejor forma de arreglar la situación que vivimos con los animales de maltratos y abandonos es educando a las generaciones que nos preceden.
Por eso nos parece muy interesante todas las iniciativas en este sentido, hablando con los niños y haciendoles ver las cosas de otra manera.
Hemos querido poner nuestro granito de arena en este sentido, y gracias a la colaboración de Esther Rivero y el impulso de nuestra compañera Mapi, el dia 13 de Abril, GRAN CANARIA PETS, dió su primera charla en el Colegio  Público Beñesmén de Agüimes a los alumnos de 5º de Primaria.
El título de la charla fue: "CUIDADO RESPONSABLE DE NUESTRAS MASCOTAS"
Fué todo un éxito, porque a los niños es un tema que les gusta muchisimo y se habían preparado presentaciones, fotos, videos y un cuestionario muy simple al final de la charla.  El tiempo pasó volando y los niños no querian que se terminase.  Seguro que volveremos a dar mas charlas !!!!!!!!!
Agradecemos al Ayuntamiento de Agüimes su invitación y su ayuda para  poder realizarla.

We have always thought that the best way to fix the situation we are experiencing with abused and abandoned animals, is educating the future generations.
Therefore it seems very interesting of all the initiatives in this sense, to talk to children and making them see things differently.
We wanted to contribute in this sense, and thanks to the collaboration of Esther Rivero and the impulse of our colleague Mapi, on April 13 GRAN CANARIA PETS gave their first chat on the
Colegio  Público Beñesmén in Agüimes to the students in the 5th grade.
The title of the talk was: "RESPONSIBLE CARE OF OUR PETS"
It was one big success, because children love the theme about animals a lot and we prepared presentations, pictures, videos and at the end of the talk we had a very simple questionnaire. Time flew by and the children did not wanted to end. For sure we will go back to give more talks !!!!!!!!!
We thank the Town Hall of Agüimes for their invitation and help realize this.

Wir haben immer gedacht, dass der beste Weg, um die Situation zu beheben, die wir mit missbrauchte und verlassene Tiere erleben, ist die Erziehung der künftigen Generationen.  
Daher ist es sehr interessant für alle Initiativen in diesem Sinne, um zu den Kindern zu sprechen und es ihnen ermöglichten, die Dinge anders zu sehen. 
Wir wollten in diesem Sinne beitragen und dank der Zusammenarbeit von Esther Rivero und der Impuls von unsere Kollegin Mapi, gab GRAN CANARIA PETS am 13. April ihre ersten Chat auf der Colegio Público Beñesmén in Agüimes an die Studenten in der 5. Klasse.
Der Titel des Vortrags lautete: "VERANTWORTLICHE PFLEGE VON UNSERE TIERE"
Es war ein großer Erfolg, weil die Kinder lieben das Thema über Tieren sehr gerne und wir bereiteten Präsentationen, Bilder, Videos und am Ende des Gesprächs hatten wir einen sehr einfachen Fragebogen. Die Zeit verflog und die Kinder wollte nicht zu beenden. Sicherlich werden wir wieder gehen um mehre Gespräche zu geben !!!!!!!!
Wir danken dem Rathaus von Agüimes für die Einladung und Hilfe, das alles zu realisieren.

 

PERRITA ABANDONADA CON SU COMIDA - ABANDONED DOG WITH HER FOOD - VERLASSENER HÜNDIN MIT IHRE NAHRUNG

La vi porque casi la atropello por la tarde-noche del martes. Se notaba que la habían dejado allí porque tenía un cacharro de comida del que no comía pero del que no se separaba como esperando a que vinieran a buscarla. Es bastante tímida, me costó casi una hora el que se acercara a mi.
 No tiene chip, dicen que tendrá unos 4-5 meses, pesa 7,9kg.

Helga wrote us asking for help for this puppy she found:
I saw how she almost got run over by a car on Tuesday evening. You could tell they she was left there, because there was a bowl of food she has not eaten, but which she did not wanted to be separated of, as if she was waiting that someone was coming and get her.  She is quite shy, it took me almost one hour to get her close to me. 
She has no microchip, she is about 4-5 months old and weighs 7,9 kilos.

Ich sah wie sie fast überfahren wurde von einem Auto am Dienstagabend. Man könnte sagen, dass sie dort verlassen wurde, weil es eine Schüssel mit Essen gab, wovon sie nicht gegessen hat, aber wovon sie nicht getrennt werden wollte, als ob sie darauf wartete, dass jemand kommt und sie holte. Sie ist sehr schüchtern, es dauerte fast eine Stunde, um sie bei mir in der nähe zu bekommen.
Sie hat keinen Mikrochip, sie etwa 4-5 Monate alt und wiegt 7,9 Kilo.

PERRITO ENCONTRADO EN MUY MAL ESTADO - DOG FOUND IN VERY POOR CONDITION - HUND IN SEHR SCHLECHTEM ZUSTAND GEFUNDEN

este perrito fue encontrado  por la zona de Guanarteme, estaba en muy mal estado y después de llevarlo al veterinario y darle algunos medicamentos que necesitaba porque parecía que se moría, está mejor. Es un perrito de edad adulta, y no tiene chip. Por favor si alguien lo reconoce que llame al 670 85 32 53. Intentaremos buscarle familia como primera opción y como último recurso el albergue.

LUNITA: ADOPTADA !!! - ADOPTED !!! - ADOPTIERT !!!

LUNITA estaba en acogida con Maira desde que tenía un mes, pero toda la familia le han cogido tanto cariño que se quedan con ella para siempre !!!!!!!
Maira tambien tiene adoptada a Zaida,  otra perra de Gran Canaria Pets, en realidad en este momento son 4 los peludos que hay en esta familia.
Muchas felicidades a todos y que sean muy felices juntos, los humanos y los peluditos !!!!!!

LUNITA was in fostering with Maira since she was one month old, but the whole family took so many affection that they want to keep her forever!!!!
Maira also adopted Zaida, another dog from GCP, and now there are 4 dogs in this family. 
Congratulations to all and we hope you are all happy together, the humans and the furry's !!!!

LUNITA war in der Förderung bei Maira, seit sie einen Monat alt war, aber die ganze Familie nahm so viele Liebe, dass sie sie für immer behalten wollen !!!!
Maira adoptierte auch Zaida, einen anderen Hund von GCP, und jetzt gibt es 4 Hunden in dieser Familie.

OPEL Y ASTRA: ENTRAN EN GRAN CANARIA PETS - NEW ENTRANCE - NEUZUGANG

Estos dos hermanitos son OPEL y ASTRA.
Pertenecían a una familia en Las Palmas que tenía 10 perros en un piso y nos pidieron ayuda. Ya les hemos retirado 3 perros y vamos a castrar al macho para que no siga preñando a las hembras que quedan en la casa.
OPEL (macho, blanco y negro)  y ASTRA (hembra, beige) tienen 7 meses y pesan 6 k. cada uno.
Son unos perritos preciosos, pequeños de tamaño y muy tímidos.
No están acostumbrados a salir a la calle, por lo que tienen mucho miedo, pero necesitan cariño y coger confianza.
De momento los dos están juntos en una casa de acogida de Gran Canaria Pets. Ya tienen chip y vacunas y en los próximos días se van a castrar.

These two siblings are OPEL and ASTRA.
They belonged to a family in Las Palmas who had 10 dogs in a flat and they asked us for help.
We already removed 3 dogs and we will castrate the male, so that he will not continue to make  the females pregnant that are left in the house.
OPEL (male, black and white) and ASTRA (female, beige) are 7 months old and weigh 6 kilos each. They are beautiful mid-size dogs, but very shy. 
They are not used to go for a walk on the street, they are very scared, so they need love and they need to gain confidence.
For the moment they are together in one of our foster homes. They now have a microchip, are vaccinated and in the next days they will be castrated.  

Diese beiden Geschwistern sind OPEL und ASTRA.
Sie gehörten zu einer Familie in Las Palmas, die 10 Hunde in einer Wohnung hatte und sie fragten uns um Hilfe. 
Wir haben bereits 3 Hunde entfernt und wir werden die männliche kastrieren, damit er nicht weiter die Weibchen schwanger macht, die noch in das Haus sind. 
OPEL (männlich, schwarz und weiß) und ASTRA (weiblich, beige) sind 7 Monate alt und wiegen jeder 6 kg. Sie sind wunderschöne mittelgroße Hunde, aber sehr scheu. 
Sie sind nicht verwendet, um für einen Spaziergang auf die Straße zu gehen, sie haben große Angst, so sie brauchen Liebe, und sie müssen Vertrauen gewinnen. 
Im Moment sind sie zusammen in einem unserer Pflegestellen. Sie haben jetzt ein Mikrochip, sind geimpft und in den nächsten Tagen wurde sie kastriert werden. 

 

VITIN, ENTRA EN GRAN CANARIA PETS - NEW ENTRANCE - NEUZUGANG

Este pequeño es VITIN.  Tiene 3 meses y medio. Nació en un solar de una perra abandonada, que parió 6 cachorros.  Ya hemos castrado a la madre que se  queda con la persona que le daba de comer. Con la madre queda otro hermano mas pendiente de adoptar.
Gracias a una nueva casa de acogida de Gran Canaria Pets hemos podido retirar a uno de los cachorros, a VITIN.
Tiene muchoooooo miedo, pues es la primera vez que sale del solar y que se separa de su madre.  Pero estamos seguros de que con el cariño de su casa de acogida va a superarlo pronto y será un perrito alegre.

This little boy is VITIN. He is 3 months old. His mother is an abandoned dog on a plot, who gave birth to 6 puppies. We already castrated the mammy, who will stay with the person that is feeding her. With the mother is one puppy left waiting for adoption.
Thanks to a new foster home of GCP, we were able to take out on of the puppies, VITIN.
He has a lot of fear, it is the first time that he left the plot and is separated from his mother. But we are confident that with the love of his foster home, he will overcome this soon and he will be a happy dog. 

Dieser kleine Junge ist VITIN. Er ist 3 Monate alt. Seine Mutter ist eine verlassene Hündin auf einem Grundstück, der Geburt gab an 6 Welpen. Wir haben bereits die Mutter kastriert, die mit der Person bleibt die sie Füttert. Mit der Mutter ist noch ein Welpe die wartet auf Annahme.
Dank einer neuen Pflegestelle von GCP, waren wir in der Lage, ein der Welpen aufzunehmen, VITIN.
Er hat eine Menge Angst, es ist das erste Mal, dass er das Grundstück verlasst und von seiner Mutter getrennt ist. Aber wir sind überzeugt, dass mit der Liebe seiner Pflegestelle, er dies bald überwunden wird, und er wird ein glücklicher Hund sein.

DESDE EL DIA 5 DE ABRIL BUSCAMOS A GALAN !!!!!

Salió de su casa de acogida en la zona de Arucas.  Hemos puesto carteles por todas partes, salimos todos los días a recorrer caminos y pueblos, vamos constantemente a Bañaderos por si aparece, pero nada !
Tenía un collar escoces en tonos rojos.  Hemos recibido llamadas de la zona de Cardones diciendo que vieron un perro como él, pero cuando llegamos no encontramos nada.
Por favor, compartan, difundan, en algun sitio tiene que estar !!!

SINCE APRIL 5 WE ARE SEARCHING FOR GALAN !!!!!

He left his foster home in Arucas. We have put posters everywhere, we go out every day to cross roads and villages, we go constantly to the dog-pound Bañaderos to see if he appears, but nothing!
He had a Scottish red necklace. We have received calls from the Cardones area, saying they saw a dog like him, but when we arrived we found nothing. 
Please share, disseminate, he has to be somewhere !!!

SEIT 5. APRIL SIND WIR AUF DER SUCHE NACH GALAN !!!!!

Er verließ seine Pflegestelle in Arucas. Wir haben überall Postern geplatzt, wir gehen jeden Tag raus, um Straßen und Dörfer zu überqueren, ständig gehen wir nach das Tötungsstation Bañaderos zu sehen, oder er erschien, aber nichts! Er hatte eine schottische roten Halsband. Wir haben Anrufe von der Cardones Gebiet erhalten, dass sie einen Hund gesehen haben, wie er, aber als wir ankamen, fanden wir nichts.
Bitte teilen, verbreiten, er muss irgendwo sein !!!

XOBY, ENTRA EN GRAN CANARIA PETS - NEW ENTRANCE - NEUZUGANG

XOBY es un perro macho muy guapo, mezcla de caniche. Tiene un tamaño mediano y tiene 7 años.
Su dueña por problemas familiares tiene que estar todo el día fuera de casa y el perro está solo.
Por eso nos ha pedido ayuda para encontrarle una familia que lo cuide bien.
Xoby ya ha entrado en Gran Canaria Pets. Es un perro muy bueno y sociable.

XOBY is a very handsome boy, a poodle mix. He is mid-size and is 7 years old. 
Because of family problems his owner has to be outdoors all day and XOBY is alone all day. 
Therefore she is asking to help him find a family who will take good care of him.
XOBY is now with GCP. He is very good and sociable. 

TOBY ist ein sehr hübscher Junge, ein Pudel-Mix. Er ist mittelgroß und ist 7 Jahre alt.
Wegen Probleme in der Familie ist sein Besitzerin den ganzen Tag draußen und ist XOBY den ganzen Tag allein.
Deshalb fragt sie uns um hilfe, ihn eine Familie zu finden, die gut um ihn kümmert. 
TOBY ist jetzt mit GCP. Er ist sehr gut und sozial.
