WÜRSELEN ALEMANIA 2023 - ENCUENTRO - TREFFEN - MEETING

El 10 de septiembre celebramos el décimo aniversario de colaboración y amistad entre Anita Hünschemeyer (nuestra colaboradora en Alemania) y Gran Canaria Pets.
La reunión se celebró en Alemania, Würselen. Tuvimos un día con un sol radiante, muchos perros felices ( unos 95 en total) y hemos conocido a los nuevos dueños de los perros rescatados en Gran Canaria y adoptados allí!.
El lugar era maravilloso ( gracias al SV OG Würselen Morsbach) .
Durante el día era un ir y venir de personas con sus perros. Los de 4 patas se lo pasaron muy bien y era precioso ver como entre ellos era todo armonía y felicidad.
Parecía una GRAN Familia, dueños felices y perros felices!.
Llegaron perros que fueron adoptados desde hace muchos años, y hasta los recién llegados, algunos llegaron de muy lejos, cerca de Bielefeld!.
Un día de mucha felicidad, risas y algunas lágrimas de emoción.
Muchas gracias en primer lugar a Anita, por organizar un día tan bonito y por su gran labor durante estos años! Chapeau!.
Gracias también a todas estas personas que ayudaron para que nadie se quedase sin comida y bebida!.
Gracias a los adoptantes de "nuestros perros", gracias por los regalos, atenciones y las donaciones!.
La hucha se llenó muy rápido ese día, y hemos recaudado más de 1.000 EUR !!!!.
Un día que no vamos a olvidar jamás 💏💏💏

Am 10. September feierten wir das 10-jährige Jubiläum der Zusammenarbeit und Freundschaft zwischen Anita Hünschemeyer (unserer Mitarbeiterin in Deutschland) und Gran Canaria Pets.
Das Treffen fand in Würselen, Deutschland, statt. Wir hatten einen sonnigen Tag, viele glückliche Hunde (insgesamt etwa 95) und wir trafen die neuen Besitzer der auf Gran Canaria geretteten und in Deutschland adoptierten Hunde! Der Platz war wunderschön (danke an die SV OG Würselen Morsbach).
Tagsüber war es ein Kommen und Gehen von Menschen mit ihren Hunden. Die Vierbeiner hatten viel Spaß und es war schön zu sehen, wie harmonisch und glücklich sie miteinander waren.
Es sah aus wie eine große Familie, glückliche Besitzer und glückliche Hunde!
Hunde, die vor vielen Jahren adoptiert wurden, und  Neuankömmlinge und sogar einige kamen von weit her, aus der Nähe von Bielefeld!
Ein Tag mit viel Freude, Lachen und einigen Tränen der Rührung.
Vielen Dank vor allem an Anita, für die Organisation eines so schönen Tages und für ihre großartige Arbeit während all dieser Jahre! Chapeau!
Danke auch an alle, die mitgeholfen haben, dass es niemandem an Essen und Trinken fehlte!
Danke an die Adoptanten "unserer Hunde", danke auch für die Geschenke und Spenden!
Das Sparschwein war an diesem Tag sehr schnell gefüllt, und wir haben mehr als 1.000 EUR gesammelt !!!! Tausend mal Dank!

On 10 September we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the cooperation and friendship between Anita Hünschemeyer (our staff member in Germany) and Gran Canaria Pets.
The meeting took place in Würselen, Germany. We had a sunny day, lots of happy dogs (about 95 in total) and we met the new owners of the dogs rescued in Gran Canaria and adopted there!
The place was beautiful (SV OG Würselen Morsbach).
During the day it was a coming and going of people with their dogs. The four-legged friends had a lot of fun and it was nice to see how harmonious and happy they were with each other.
It looked like one big family, happy owners and happy dogs!
Dogs adopted many years ago and new arrivals un even some came from far away, from near Bielefeld!
A day with lots of joy, laughter and some tears of emotion.
Many thanks especially to Anita for organising such a beautiful day and for her great work during all these years! Chapeau!

The piggy bank was filled very quickly on this day and we collected more than 1,000 EUR !!!! A thousand thanks!

🎉🎉 CORK ADOPTADO - ADOPTIERT - ADOPTED 🎉🎉

Cuando Samuel y Suleima conocieron la historia de Cork, nos escribieron, pidiendo si podían adoptarlo!. Ellos tienen 2 perritos pequeños y querían ampliar la familia!.
Vinieron a conocerlo y decidieron  llevárselo de prueba a casa. Cork fue bien recibido por sus nuevos hermanos de 4 patas!. Ya lo hemos castrado y están muy felices con él!.

Gracias por adoptar!.

Als Samuel und Suleima von Corks Geschichte hörten, schrieben sie uns und fragten, ob sie ihn adoptieren könnten! Sie haben 2 kleine Hunde und wollten ihre Familie erweitern!
Sie kamen, um ihn kennenzulernen und beschlossen, ihn probeweise mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Cork wurde von seinen neuen 4-beinigen Brüdern gut aufgenommen! Wir haben ihn bereits kastriert und sie sind sehr glücklich mit ihm!
Vielen Dank für die Adoption!

 When Samuel and Suleima heard about Cork's story, they wrote to us and asked if they could adopt him! They have 2 small dogs and wanted to add to their family!
They came to meet him and decided to take him home on a trial basis. Cork was well received by his new 4-legged brothers! We have already neutered him and they are very happy with him!

✈✈SALIDA DE POPIN & CONDOR - ABFLUG - DEPARTURE✈✈

POPIN & CONDOR tenian previsto  viajar a Alemania, parecía que el viaje se cancelaba en el último momento, pero gracias a Anita que abrió sus puertas para ellos, pudieron viajar.
Gracias a nuestros padrinos de vuelo, Barbara y Michael, siempre muy cariñosos con los perros, les llevaron en su viaje de vuelta a casa.
CONDOR & POPIN, esperemos que pronto aparezca esa familia para vosotros, con quien podais quedaros y ser amados para siempre!.

 

POPIN & CONDOR sollten nach Deutschland reisen. Es schien, dass die Reise in letzter Minute abgesagt wurde, aber dank Anita, die ihre Türen für sie öffnete, konnten sie reisen.
Dank an unserer Flugpaten, Barbara und Michael, die immer sehr liebevoll mit den Hunden umgehen, konnten sie die Rückreise antreten.
CONDOR & POPIN, lasst uns hoffen, dass diese Familie bald zu euch kommt, wo euch  bleiben und für immer geliebt werden können!

POPIN & CONDOR were supposed to travel to Germany. It seemed that the trip was cancelled at the last minute, but thanks to Anita who opened her doors for them, they were able to travel.
Thanks to our flight buddies, Barbara and Michael, who are always very loving with the dogs, they were able to make the return journey.
CONDOR & POPIN, let's hope this family comes to you soon, where they can stay and be loved forever!

 

LUCERO BUSCA HOGAR - SUCHT EIN ZUHAUSE - LOOKING FOR A HOME

Me llamo Lucero y al parecer mi nacimiento estuvo relacionado con los astros. Mi
padre humano me contó, cuando apenas era un cachorro, que el día que llegué al mundo
la luna creciente iluminaba el cielo como si fuera una bombilla gigante. Sé que él me
quería mucho.
Ahora tengo 11 años y acabo de perder a mi padre humano. Aunque siempre he sido un
podenco muy feliz, hoy me embargan sentimientos de tristeza e incertidumbre. Mi
madre humana está muy afligida también, lo puedo ver en la humedad de sus ojos. Creo
que además de la pérdida de su compañero, sufre porque sabe que está mayor y
achacosa y no podrá hacerse cargo de mí.
Aunque me dolerá marcharme del hogar donde he sido tan querido, estoy dispuesto a
ofrecer mi amor y mi lealtad a la persona que quiera adoptarme. Soy muy mimoso,
juguetón y me encanta corretear por el campo. Prometo estar a tu lado en los buenos y
malos momentos. Seré tu compañero de aventuras y tu amigo fiel. Sólo pido una
oportunidad para seguir siendo un perro feliz.

Mein Name ist LUCERO und es scheint, dass meine Geburt mit den Sternen zusammenhängt. Mein menschlicher Vater erzählte mir, als ich noch ein Welpe war, dass an dem Tag, an dem ich auf die Welt kam, die Mondsichel erleuchtete den Himmel wie eine riesige Glühbirne. Ich weiß, dass er mich sehr liebte
Jetzt bin ich 11 Jahre alt und habe gerade meinen Herrchen verloren. Obwohl ich immer ein sehr glücklicher Hund gewesen bin fühle ich mich heute sehr traurig und unsicher. Meine Frauchen ist auch sehr traurig, ich kann es an ihren feuchten Augen sehen.
Ich glaube, dass sie nicht nur den Verlust ihres Gefährten zu beklagen hat, sondern auch, dass sie weiß, dass sie älter ist und
und kränklich ist und nicht in der Lage sein wird, sich um mich zu kümmern.
Obwohl es mich schmerzen wird, das Haus zu verlassen, in dem ich so sehr geliebt wurde, bin ich bereit, meine Liebe und Loyalität anzubieten.
Meine Liebe und Treue gilt der Person, die mich adoptieren möchte. Ich bin sehr verschmust,

FRICO Y BRICO, NUEVA ENTRADA - NEUZUGANG - NEW ENTRANCE

Estos dos perritos (hermanos) fueron encontrados en el campo. Los dos estaban muertos de hambre y buscaban cariño y comida. Una chica los llevó a su casa para entregarlos en la perrera municipal, pero como las perreras están desbordadas, no pudo recogerlos!. FRICO (marrón) y BRICO (beige) ya están con nosotros. Son dos perritos encantadores. Los dos tienen ahora su microchip y vacunas puestos!. Están completamente sanos y su analítica sin indicación de enfermedades. FRICO tiene un par de heridas en las orejas que ya se están curando.Los dos tienen todavía algún colmillo de leche sin caerse, pero estos se quitarán durante la castración.

FRICO de color marrón pesa 5,2 kilos

BRICO de color beige pesa solo 4,2 kilos.

Se calculan que nacieron en el mes de noviembre del año 2022, así todavía no llegan a 1 año de edad.

 

Diese beiden Welpen (Geschwistern) wurden auf dem Lande gefunden. Sie waren beide ausgehungert und suchten nach Liebe und Futter. Ein Mädchen nahm sie mit zu sich nach Hause, um sie im  Statliches Toetungsstation abzugeben, aber da die  überfüllt sind, können sie sie nicht mitnehmen! FRICO (braun) und BRICO (beige) sind bereits bei uns. Sie sind zwei liebenswerte Hunde. Sie sind jetzt beide gechipt und geimpft! Sie sind völlig gesund und auf MMK  negativ getestet werden.  FRICO hat ein paar Wunden an den Ohren, die inzwischen verheilt sind.Beide haben noch einige Milchzähne, aber die werden bei der Kastration entfernt.

FRICO braun wiegt 5,2 Kilo.

BRICO beige wiegt nur 4,2 Kilo.

Sie werden voraussichtlich im November 2022 geboren, sind also noch nicht 1 Jahr alt.

These two puppies (siblings) were found in the countryside. They were both starved and looking for love and food. A girl took them to them home to drop them off at the Killingstation (perrera), but as they are overcrowded, they can't take them! FRICO (brown) and BRICO (beige) are already with us. They are two lovely dogs. They are now both chipped and vaccinated! They are completely healthy and tested negative on diseases.  FRICO has a few wounds on his ears which have healed in the meantime.Both still have some baby teeth but these will be removed when they are neutered.
FRICO brown weighs 5.2 kilos.
BRICO beige weighs only 4.2 kilos.
They are expected to be born in November 2022, so they are not yet 1 year old.

 

STAR, NUEVA ENTRADA - NEUZUGANG - NEW ENTRANCE

Nos pidieron ayuda para esta perrita. La hemos llamado STAR. Ella tenía una casa y familia, pero se cansaron muy pronto de ella. Mientras que era un cachorrito ( solo tiene 9 meses ahora!) era la princesa de su casa, pero ahora que se está haciendo mayor se cansaron de ella.
Star es una perrita muy alegre, se lleva bien con otros perros, pero ella estaba acostumbrada a vivir en una casa, con su camita y el calor de un hogar, y sufre este abandono. STAR pesa solo 4,1 kilos y no va a crecer mas.

Buscamos para ella una familia con la que pueda vivir para siempre, que nunca se canse de ella y con quien solo vaya a recibir cariño y amor.

 

Wir wurden um Hilfe für diese Hündin gebeten. Wir nannten sie STAR. Sie hatte ein Zuhause und eine Familie, aber die waren ihrer sehr schnell überdrüssig. Als sie noch ein Welpe war (sie ist jetzt erst 9 Monate alt!), war sie die Prinzessin ihres Zuhauses, aber jetzt, wo sie älter wird, haben sie genug von ihr.
Star ist ein sehr fröhliche Hündin, sie versteht sich gut mit anderen Hunden, aber sie war es gewohnt, in einem Haus zu leben, mit ihrem Körbchen und der Wärme eines Zuhauses, und sie leidet unter dieser Verlassenheit. STAR wiegt nur 4,1 Kilo und sie wird nicht mehr wachsen.
Wir suchen für sie eine Familie, in der sie für immer leben kann, in der man sich nie an ihr satt sehen kann und in der sie nur Liebe und Zuneigung bekommt.

 

We were asked to help this female dog. We named her STAR. She had a home and a family, but they tired of her very quickly. When she was a puppy (she is only 9 months old now!) she was the princess of her home, but now that she is getting older they have had enough of her.
Star is a very happy dog, she gets on well with other dogs, but she was used to living in a house, with her basket and the warmth of a home, and she is suffering from this abandonment. STAR weighs only 4.1 kilos and she will not grow any more.
We are looking for a family for her where she can live forever, where they will never get tired of her and where she will only get love and affection.

 

✈✈ SALIDA DE BOO & BAGEL - ABFLUG - DEPARTURE ✈✈

Día 1 de Septiembre y un día muy alegre para BOO & BAGEL!.
Hoy era el gran día del viaje a Alemania. Gracias a sus padrinos de vuelo, Aline y Dennis. Además de ser padrinos de vuelo, son los papás de 2 de nuestros perros! (Lian adoptado en el 2017 y Nala adoptada en el 2020).
Todos llegaron bien!. BOO estaba reservado y su familia vino a recogerlo el día siguiente, cual fue nuestra sorpresa, ya que no vinieron solo para recoger a BOO, sino que adoptaron también a BAGEL!. Los dos se van a quedar juntos!. Ahora tienen un hermano mayor de 4 patas y una hermana humana.
Gracias familia por no separar a los hermanos!.

Heute war der große Tag der Reise nach Deutschland. Vielen Dank an ihre Flugpaten, Aline und Dennis. Sie sind nicht nur Flugpaten, sondern auch die Besitzern von 2 unserer Hunde (Lian adoptiert in 2017 und Nala adoptiert in 2020).
Sie sind alle gut angekommen! BOO wurde reserviert und seine Familie kam am nächsten Tag, um ihn abzuholen. Groß war unsere Überraschung, dass sie nicht nur kamen, um BOO abzuholen, sondern auch BAGEL adoptierten! Die beiden werden zusammenbleiben! Jetzt haben sie einen 4-beinigen großen Bruder und eine menschliche Schwester.
Danke, Familie, dass ihr die Geschwister nicht getrennt habt!

Today the first of September, and a very happy day for BOO & BAGEL!
Today was the big day of the trip to Germany. Many thanks to their flight sponsors, Aline and Dennis. Not only they are  the flightbuddies, but they are also the owners of 2 of our dogs (Lian adopted in 2017 and Nala adopted in 2020).
They have all arrived safely! BOO was reservated and his family came to pick him up the next day. Big was our surprise that they not only came to pick up BOO, but also adopted BAGEL! The two of them will stay together! Now they have a 4-legged big brother and a human sister.
Thank you, family, for not separating the siblings!

 

🎉🎉 CAMY ADOPTADA - ADOPTIERT - ADOPTED 🎉🎉

CAMY está adoptada!. Mª del Pino y su familia buscaban adoptar una perrita y se enamoraron de CAMY!. Después de llevársela unos días de prueba (y justamente ese día le llegó el celo!), estaban muy felices con ella. Ahora después de la adopción, oficialmente vivirá felizmente con ellos. Dentro de un par de semanas, cuando esté recuperada del celo, la vamos a castrar.

CAMY ist adoptiert! Mª del Pino und ihre Familie waren auf der Suche nach einem Hund, den sie adoptieren wollten, und sie verliebten sich in CAMY! Nach ein paar Tagen des Ausprobierens (und gerade an diesem Tag war sie läufig!) waren sie sehr glücklich mit ihr. Jetzt, nach der offizielles Adoption,  bekommt sie ein glückliches leben. In ein paar Wochen, wenn sie sich von der Läufigkeit erholt hat, werden wir sie kastrieren.

CAMY is adopted! Mª del Pino and her family were looking for a dog to adopt and they fell in love with CAMY! After a few days of trying her out (and just that day she was in heat!) they were very happy with her. Now, after the official adoption, she is getting a happy life.
In a few weeks, when she has recovered from her heat, we will spay her.
