LA HISTORIA DE DRAGO NO HA TERMINADO........... THE HISTORY OF DRAGO IS NOT FINISHED............. DRAGOS GESCHICHTE IST NOCH NICHT VORBEI……..

Dimos la noticia de este pobre perrito, que fué atropellado en la autopista ante los ojos de un voluntario de Gran Canaria Pets cuando íbamos a intentar rescatarlo.
A while ago we gave news about this poor dog, who got hit by a car on the highway on front of the eyes of one of our volunteers when we went to rescue him. 
Vor einiger Zeit berichteten wir über diesen armen Hund, der auf der Autobahn von einem PKW angefahren wurde – und das direkt vor den Augen unserer Freiwilligen als wir ihn retten wollten.

El atropello fué muy duro y tenia varias fracturas. Se le hicieron todas las curas de urgencia necesarias.   Pero tenia microchip y el dueño lo estaba buscando, lo localizó  y se hizo cargo de Él.
He got badly hit by the car and had several fractures. They made all the emergency cures needed. But he had a microchip and the owner was looking for him, he was found and took charge of him. 
Er wurde schwer verletzt und hatte mehrere Brüche. Die Verletzungen wurden erstversorgt. Er hat einen Mikrochip, durch den der Besitzer, der ihn suchte, ausfindig gemacht wurde und sich um ihn weiter kümmerte.

Creímos que nuestra labor con este perrito había terminado, pero al día siguiente nos llamó el veterinario, diciendo que el dueño había vuelto a la clínica con el perrito porque estaba muy grave.  Parece ser que algo se había roto en el interior, posiblemente del aparato urinario, porque tenia el vientre muy hinchado, y se comprobó que era orina.
We thought that our work was done with this dog, but on the next day the veterinarian called us, telling us that the owner came back with the dog because it was going really bad with the dog. It seems that something had broken inside, possibly the urinary system, because he had very swollen belly, and found out that it was urine. 
Wir gingen davon au, dass damit der Fall für uns erledigt wäre, aber am nächsten Tag rief uns der Tierarzt an, weil der Besitzer mit dem Hund zur Klinik zurückgekommen war, weil es dem Tier so schlecht ging. Es schien, dass er innere Verletzungen haben musste, möglicherweise etwas im Harnbereich, denn sein Bauch war geschwollen und die Ursache war dann doch Urin.

Había que hacer varias pruebas y operaciones,  y el dueño no podía hacer frente a esos gastos, y decidió eutanasiarlo para que el animal no siguiese sufriendo.
Several tests and operations had to be done, and the owner could not take charge of these expenses, and decided to euthanize him so the animal did not suffer any more.
Mehrere Tests und OPs waren erforderlich, die sich der Besitzer nicht leisten konnte. Daher entschied er sich, ihn zu erlösen, damit das Tier nicht mehr leiden muss.

 

Nos pidieron ayuda y Gran Canaria Pets no ha permitido que lo eutanasien y nos hemos hecho cargo de el.  Vamos a hacer todo lo posible para que DRAGO siga viviendo.

They asked us for help and GCP did not allow to euthanize and we took charge of him.

We will do everything possible so DRAGO will continue living. 

Sie baten uns um Hilfe und Gran Canaria Pets entschied sich gegen das Einschläfern und nahm ihn auf.

Wir werden alles unternehmen, damit DRAGO weiterlebt.

Ahora DRAGO sigue ingresado en la clínica.  Tiene una sonda puesta por donde expulsa la orina y se está estabilizando.  Pero lo que ya sabemos es que va a quedar cojo de su patita trasera, pues ha estado tan malito que no se podía exponer a una intervención quirurgica  y ahora ya es tarde para operar su pata.
Esperamos poder curar a DRAGO de todas sus lesiones y que pronto sea un perrito feliz, aunque tenga una patita un poco coja.
Now DRAGO is still hospitalized at the clinic. He has a tube placed through where squeezes urine and he is stabilizing. But we already know is that he is going to be lame in his rear leg, as he has been so unwell that it was not possible to expose a surgical intervention and now it's too late to operate his paw.
We hope that DRAGO can be cured of all his injuries and soon will be a happy dog, even with a slightly lame leg. 
Derzeit wird DRAGO in der Klinik behandelt. Er bekam eine Sonde, damit der Urin abfließt und er sich stabilisiert. Wir wissen bereits, dass ein Hinterlauf lahmen wird, denn weil er für einen Eingriff zu krank war kein Eingriff möglich und jetzt ist es für eine Operation zu spät.
Wir hoffen, dass sich DRAGO von seinen Verletzungen erholt und bald ein fröhlicher Hund wird – wenn auch mit einem leicht lahmenden Bein.
