CLAUDI is a female Great Dane mix. She was living with a man and 16 other dogs in the mountain in a caravan. One day this man had to leave his caravan and left the 17 dogs behind! One of them was CLAUDI. There were adult dogs, small- and big size dogs and puppies. Two animal lovers, Virginie and Conny worried about these dogs and tried to find a solution. CLAUDI had 6 puppies and she needed a urgently a home. They were able to find homes for all these puppies, also with the help from another protector.
CLAUDI ist ein Doggenmischling. Sie lebte mit 16 weiteren Hunden bei einem Mann im Wohnwagen in den Bergen. Eines Tages musste der Mann den Wohnwagen verlassen und ließ die 17 Hunde zurück! Eine von ihnen war CLAUDI. Es handelte sich um erwachsene Hunde, klein bis groß sowie Welpen. Zwei Tierfreunde, Virginie und Conny, waren besorgt um die Tiere und versuchten eine Lösung zu finden. CLAUDI hatte 6 Welpen und brauchte dringend ein Zuhause. Dank der Unterstützung eines weiteren Tierschutzvereins fanden sie für die Welpen Familien.
Virginie y Conny recogieron a Claudi para esterilizarla y asi evitar que vinieron mas cachorros. Ella en la operación casi perdió la vida pero gracias a los cuidados de la veterinaria se salvó y se recuperó. Pero no tenían otro lugar para dejarla y la tuvieron que soltar ahi de nuevo.
Virginie and Conny took Claudi to get her sterilized and like this they avoid that she was going to have more litters. She almost died in the operation, but thanks to the good care of the veterinarian she got saved and she recovered. But they had no other place/home to leave her, so she went back to the place she came from.
Virginie und Conny nahmen Claudi zu sich und ließen sie sterilisieren, um weitere Würfe zu vermeiden. Sie ist bei der OP fast gestorben, aber Dank der Fähigkeiten des Tierarztes kam sie durch und erholte sich. Aber sie hatten keine Unterbringungsmöglichkeit und mussten sie dorthin zurückbringen wo sie herkam.
Virginie pasa diariamente por ahi para alimentar a los perros que todavia han quedado. Aunque ya son menos...todavia hay varios, de lo cuales 4 son cachorros de unos 7 meses que pronto van a entrar en celo.
Virginie is going each day there to feed the dogs who are still there. Although there are less now.... there are still several, 4 puppies from about 7 months old, who soon will have their first heat.
Virginie fährt täglich dort hin um die verbliebenen Hunde zu füttern. Auch wenn es nun weniger sind… es sind noch einige da, 4 ca. 7 Monate alte Welpen, die bald das erste Mal läufig sind.

La comida de cada dia que Virginie prepara para esos animales. En dias con mucho calor pasa tambien al mediodia para ponerles siempre agua fresca.

Ella nos pidio ayuda para encontrar casas para estos perros, ademas no es facil coger a algunos por el miedo que tienen. Por falta de cuidados y atención durante tanto tiempo no se acercan mucho.
She asked us to help to find homes for these animals, although it is not easy to catch them, because of the fear they have. Because of lack of care and attention during a long time, they don`t get close.
Sie bat uns um Hilfe bei der Suche nach einem Heim für diese Tiere, auch wenn es schwer wird sie einzufangen, denn sie sind sehr ängstlich. Weil sie keine Fürsorge und Aufmerksamkeit kennen, halten sie sich fern.
Pero hace poco y despues de mandar fotos a varios sitios, Janine y Chris nos pidieron mas información sobre Claudi desde Alemania . Ellos se enteraron por su hijo Amon que estuvo en la isla hace poco con su abuela Petra y siempre nos quiere ayudar con los animales.
But only a while ago and after sending pictures to several places, Janine and Chris from Germany asked us for more information about Claudi. They found out trough there son Amon who was on the island only a while ago with his Grandmother and always wants to help us with the animals.
Aber erst vor kurzem, nach verschicken von Fotos an die verschiedensten Stellen, baten uns Janine und Chris aus Deutschland um mehr Informationen über Claudi. Sie wurden durch ihren Sohn Amon auf sie aufmerksam, der erst kürzlich mit seiner Großmutter auf der Insel war und uns immer bei den Tieren hilft.
They came to Gran Canaria to meet CLAUDI! And as you can see on the pictures..... they took the decision quickly. CLAUDI is so lovely...... that she is selling her on her own!
Sie kamen nach Gran Canaria, um sich CLAUDIA anzusehen! Und wie man auf den Fotos sieht…. gab’s eine schnelle Entscheidung. CLAUDI ist so klasse….. dass sie sich selbst „verkauft“!

Desde entonces la retiramos de la montaña y la "guardamos" durante unos dias y finalmente el miercoles a primera hora de la mañana la recogimos para ir al aeropuerto!
Since that moment we took her away from the mountains and we kept her for a few days and finally on Wednesday, early in the morning we took her to the airport!
Daraufhin holten wir sie aus den Bergen und behielten sie einige Tage. Und dann, Mittwoch frühmorgens, brachten wir sie zum Flughafen!
The Jahn family were so nice to take CLAUDI on their flight and they left with her to Germany!
Familie Jahn war so freundlich, CLAUDI auf ihrem Flug nach Deutschland mitzunehmen!
