We present to you BIMBA, a female dog from about 2 years old and was living in the field. Close to her was a person who was feeding her, but only a while ago this person left there and BIMBA and a few other dogs were left there. It was difficult to catch her because she did not have much confidence. At the end some volunteers were able to catch her and took her to the veterinarian to castrate her. For sure she had some puppies because her heat was just finished. There she stayed for a few days, but because there was nobody who could take her in, she was left again where she lived before. The volunteers went all days to give her water and food.
Hier stellen wir euch BIMBA vor, ein ca. 2 Jahre altes Mädchen, das auf dem Land lebte. In der Nähe lebte jemand, der sie fütterte, aber vor kurzem zog er fort und BIMBA sowie einige andere Hunde blieben zurück. Es war recht schwierig, sie einzufangen, denn sie war sehr misstrauisch. Letzten Endes konnte sie von einigen Freiwilligen gefangen werden und wurde zum Tierarzt gebracht, der sie auch sterilisierte. Mit Sicherheit hatte sie Welpen gehabt, denn ihre Läufigkeit war gerade vorbei. Sie blieb dort einige Tage, aber weil es niemanden für sie gab, wurde sie zur alten Stelle zurückgebracht. Die Freiwilligen gaben ihr dort täglich Wasser und Futter.
El viernes dia 25 vimos que en ese terreno había una escavadora trabajando y los perros por miedo se alejaron del sitio. Por la tarde, voluntarios de Gran Canaria pets fuimos de de nuevo y pudimos recoger a Bimba. Tenia un poquito de infección pero se lo curamos con un par de dias de cuidados. Entro en una casa de acogida, donde se quedo muy a gusto en el sofa.
On Friday the 25th we saw that there was a excavator on the plot and the dogs who were really scared left the place. In the afternoon we went again and we could catch Bimba. She had a little infection but after a few days of care, this is now cured. She went into a foster home, where she got very comfortable on the couch.
Freitag, den 25. sahen wir einen Bagger auf dem Grundstück und die ängstlichen Hunde liefen weg. Am Nachmittag fuhren Freiwillige von Gran Canaria Pets noch einmal dort hin und konnten Bimba abholen. Sie hatte eine leichte Infektion, de aber nach wenigen Tagen auskuriert war. Sie kam in eine Pflegestelle, wo sie den Komfort eines Sofas genießt.
BIMBA is a very sweet dog, she has no problem living together with other dogs and also she doesn`t mind the cat in the foster home. She does not know how to play, sleeps a lot and loves to go out for a walk. She is completely clean inside the house and very tranquil.
BIMBA ist eine süße Hündin, lebt problemlos mit anderen Hunden sowie der Katze in der Pflegestelle. Sie kennt kein spielen, schläft viel und liebt Spaziergänge. Im Haus ist sie stubenrein und sehr ruhig.
Todavia hay en el terreno donde estaba BIMBA mas perritos, varios cachorros de unos 5 a 6 meses. Estamos atentos de ellos y intentaremos recogerlos pronto !
On the plot where BIMBA was living are still some other dogs, several puppies from about 5 to 6 months old. We are aware of them and we are trying to take them in as soon as possible.
Auf dem Grundstück, auf dem BIMBA lebte, sind noch einige andere Hunde, einige Welpen im Alter von ca. 5-6 Monaten. Wir geben auf sie acht und versuchen sie schnellstmöglich aufzunehmen.
