Lima we found a while ago in the dog-pound of Santa Brigida.
Lima fanden wir vor einer Weile im Tierheim Santa Brigida.
When we took her out of her cage to take some pictures we discovered a big bump on her belly as you can see on the picture.
Als wir sie aus dem Zwinger holten, um Fotos von ihr aufzunehmen, entdeckten wir eine große Beule an ihrem Bauch (s. Foto).
El dia siguiente la recogimos de la perrera. El test de Filaria di positiva y tambien tenia Ana Plasma.
Asi fue tratada primera de la Ana Plasma y una vez recuperada tenia que ser intervenida para quitar el tumor y durante este operation tambien la castraron. Entro en casa de una voluntaria donde la cuidaron hasta el dia de hoy! Pero despues de este operation quedo todavia el tratamiento de Filaria de lo cual se puso muy malita!
Because she is still very young, the next day we took her out of the dog-pound. The heart-worm and anaplasmosis tests came out positive. So first we treated her for anaplasmosis and ones recovered from that she got operated to take the tumour out and she got sterilized. After that she went to the home of one of our volunteers where she was taken care of until today. But after the operation she still had to have her treatment for heart-worm and she got really sick from that.
Weil sie noch sehr jung ist, holten wir sie am nächsten Tag aus dem Tierheim. Die Herzwurm- und Anaplasma-Tests fielen positiv aus. Daher behandelten wir sie erst auf Anaplasma und als sie das auskuriert hatte, wurde der Tumor operativ entfernt und sie wurde gleichzeitig sterilisiert. Danach kam sie zu einer unserer Freiwilligen, wo sie bis heute betreut wird. Aber nach der OP musste sie noch die Herzwurmbehandlung haben und ihr ging es davon sehr schlecht.
Finally the time for her came as well to say goodbye to us!
Letztendlich kam auch für sie die Stunde des Abschieds.
This morning the Bar family took LIMA on their flight to Germany!
Heute Morgen nahm Familie Bar LIMA auf ihrem Flug nach Deutschland mit!
In the afternoon we received a message from the Bar family that everything went well and they all arrived good! Thanks to all that also LIMA found her cradle!
Nachmittags erhielten wir von Familie Bar die Nachricht, dass alles problemlos verlief und sie gut angekommen sind! Danke an alle und auch dass LIMA ihr Bettchen fand!
