El sábado 21 de Febrero, Blanca Diez nos solicitó ayuda urgente para 5 perros, cuyo dueño había fallecido en Las Palmas al principio de la semana y nadie se había enterado. Los perros permanecieron todos estos días pegados a su dueño muerto, sin ser atendidos por nadie, sin comida y en medio de una gran suciedad y el cuerpo en putrefacción de su dueño.
El Juez y el personal que levantó el cadáver tuvo que entrar con mascarillas y bolsas de plástico en los pies por la gran suciedad de la casa. Un familiar metió a los perros en la azotea.
Cuando nos enteramos, se organizó todo con urgencia para retirar los perros de ese lugar, y aunque eran las 10 de la noche, dos voluntarias de Gran Canaria Pets, con la ayuda de Blanca, debidamente vestidas y preparadas, y con linternas, pues la casa no tenía luz, accedieron a la vivienda y recogieron a los perros, que estaban tan asustados que amenazaban con tirarse de la azotea abajo.
El momento fue terrible, con muchos nervios y tensión, pero todo salió bien y los perros ya están a salvo con Gran Canaria Pets.
El olor que tenían estos animales era terrible, pero ya están pelados y bañados varias veces.
Son una familia de madre, padre, y 3 hijos de unos 2 años.
Queremos dar las gracias a Blanca por informarnos y ayudarnos y a este excepcional equipo de rescate de Gran Canaria Pets, Montse y Chelo, que no dudaron ni un momento en ponerse manos a la obra con toda rapidez, a pesar de lo duro de la situación y consiguieron un éxito rotundo !!!!!!!!!!!!
On Saturday February 21, Blanca Diez asked us urgently for help for 5 dogs, whose owner died in Las Palmas in the beginning of the week and nobody knew about it. The dogs stayed all these days stuck to their dead owner, without being seen by anyone, without food and in the middle of a large dirt and body of their owner in putrefaction.
The Judge and staff who lifted the corpse had to go in with masks and plastic bags on their feet, because of the large dirt in the house. A relative took the dogs to the roof-terrace.
When we found out about this, we urgently organized to remove the dogs from there, and although is was 10 o'clock in the evening, 2 volunteers of GCP, with the help from Blanca, properly dressed and ready, and with flash-lights, because the house had no electricity, we accessed the living and collected the dogs, who were so frightened that they threatened to jump from the roof-terrace.
The moment was terrible, with many nerves and tension, but everything went well and the dogs are now safe with Gran Canaria Pets.
The smell that these animals had was terrible, but they are already groomed and several times bathed.
They are a family, a mother, father and 3 children of about 2 years old.
We want to thank Blanca for informing and helping us and the exceptional rescue team of Gran Canaria Pets, Montse and Chelo, who did not hesitate a moment to get to work with all speed, despite how hard the situation was and achieved a great success !!!!!!!!!!!!
Am Samstag, 21. Februar fragte Blanca Diez uns dringend um Hilfe für 5 Hunde, deren Besitzer starb in Las Palmas am Anfang der Woche, und niemand wusste davon. Die Hunde blieben alle in diesen Tagen, um ihre Toten Besitzer stecken, ohne von jemandem gesehen zu werden, ohne Nahrung und in der Mitte eines großen Schmutz und den Körper ihrer Besitzer in Verwesung.
Der Richter und Mitarbeitern, die die Leiche abgehoben haben,musste rein gehen mit Masken und Plastiktüten an den Füßen, wegen der großen Schmutz im Haus. Ein Verwandter nahm die Hunde auf der Dachterrasse.
Als wir heraus fanden über diese, organisierte wir dringend, um die Hunde von dort zu entfernen, und zwar es 10.00 Uhr am Abend war, 2 Freiwillige von GCP, mit Hilfe von Blanca, korrekt gekleidet und vorbereitet, und mit Blitzlichter, denn das Haus hatte keinen Strom, betraten wir das Haus und sammelte die Hunde, die so verängstigt waren, dass sie drohte, von der Dachterrasse zu springen.
Der Moment war schrecklich, mit vielen Nerven und Spannung, aber alles ging gut und die Hunde sind nun sicher mit Gran Canaria Pets.
Der Geruch, der die Tiere hatten, war schrecklich, aber sie sind bereits rasiert und mehrmals gebadet. Sie sind eine Familie, eine Mutter, Vater und drei Kinder von ca. 2 Jahre alt.
