Queremos dar las gracias a todos los que nos han donado tanta ayuda para los animales afectados por el incendio en la cumbre de Gran Canaria.
La revista VIVA CANARIAS y la emisora de MIX RADIO fueron los impulsores de esta ayuda y a través de ellos se canalizó todo el material y donaciones.
También a los propietarios del Café Mozart en Playa del Inglés que hicieron una colecta y nos la han ingresado en la cuenta. También otras personas han ingresado directamente dinero en nuestra cuenta.
Ayer sábado fuimos a recoger todo y al entrar en la habitación nos quedamos en shock al ver tantas cosas !!!!!
Fueron necesarios varios coches para trasladar todo a un almacén y poder clasificarlo.
También llevamos con nosotros a un perro rescatado del incendio en muy mal estado y nos vamos a hacer cargo de todos sus gastos y su curación. Se trata de CHICO y su foto en el incendió ha sido ya publicada desde los primeros momentos. Este pobre animal vió como se moría abrasado su compañero también atado a una cadena y otros animales, sin embargo el se salvó. Pero su dueño lo mantenía en una situación horrible, en los huesos, deshidratado, con filaria, orinando sangre, muy enfermo. Afortunadamente se lo entregó a otra protectora que intercedió por él, y ahora con toda la ayuda recibida, Gran Canaria Pets puede ocuparse de todos sus gastos y cuidados.
Esta semana vamos a subir a la cumbre para hablar con vecinos, veterinarios y autoridades para ver la mejor forma de distribuir este material para que llegue a quien lo necesite. También hemos pensado comprar comida para el ganado para los vecinos que se hayan quedado sin alimentos para los animales.
En los primeros días del incendio recibimos también material y comida que repartimos entre algunas personas que estaban ayudando en la cumbre.

Auch andere Leute haben direkt Geld auf unsere Konto uberwiessen.Gestern Samstag hatte wir verabredet und beim Betreten des Raumes waren wir im Schock, um so viele Dinge zu sehen !!!!!Wir bracuhten mehrere Autos, um alles in zu eine Lagerstelle zu bringen wo wir dann alles klassifizieren sollen.Wir hatten auch einen Hund, der aus dem Feuer in sehr schlechtem Zustand gerettet wird mitgenommen , und wir werden uns um all seine Ausgaben und seine Heilung kümmern. Er ist CHICO und sein Foto im Feuer ist seit den ersten Momenten publiziert werden . Dieses arme Tier sah, wie sein Freund die auch an eine Kette gebunden war und andere Tiere zu Tode verbrannt wurden, nuer er hatte es ueberlebt . Aber sein Besitzer hielt ihn in einer schrecklichen Situation, er ist nuer Knochen, dehydriert, Filaria (Herzwurm), Blut im Urin,.... er ist sehr krank. Glücklicherweise gab er es einen Tierschuetzer, der für ihn intervenierte und ihm mitbekommen hatt. Jetzt mit all der Hilfe erhalten, koennen wir von Gran Canaria Pets auch alle Ihre Kosten und Pflege uebernehmen.In dieser Woche werden wir in die Bergen gehen, um mit Nachbarn, Tierärzten und Behörden zu sprechen, um zu sehen, wie es am besten ist, dieses Material zu verteilen, damit es zukommt zu wer es braucht. Wir haben auch gedacht, Lebensmittel für Vieh zu kaufen für Nachbarn, die aus der Nahrung für Tiere ausgelaufen sind.In den ersten Tagen des Feuers erhielten wir auch Material und Nahrung, die wir unter einigen Freiwilliger verteilten, die in die Bergen helfen konnten.

Also other people transferred directly money on our account.Yesterday ,Saturday, we meeted these organisers and on entering the room we were in shock to see so many things !!!!!We needed several cars to bring everything to a stock , where we then can classify everything.We also took a dog with us who is rescued from the fire in very bad condition, and we will take care of all his expenses and his cure. He is CHICO and his photo has been published after the fire since the first moments. This poor animal saw how his friend, who was also tied to a chain and other animals were burnt to death, only he could survive it. His owner kept him in a terrible situation, he is bare, dehydrated, Filaria, blood in the urine,.... he is very sick. Fortunately, he gave Chico to a volunteer . Now with all the help received, we from Gran Canaria Pets can also take over all the expenses and care for him.This week, we will go to the mountains to talk to neighbors, veterinarians and authorities to see how it will be the best to distribute this material so that it can go to where the biggest need is.
